I'm not huge into using pedals, in general, but I haven't been let down by any of the Danelectro pedals yet. But, this pedal can get you a great David Gilmour sound very easily, and can almost get close to a Uni-Vibe type of sound, too. I have yet to use the pedal in a live setting to really put it to the test, but, I'm completely happy with this one.
MAYBE the only complaint about any of these "Dano food pedals" is that they're made from plastic and might not stand the test of time. But, since I'm not a heavy footed guy and hardly use pedals in clubs (I'm a bassist - but, sometimes will switch to a six string guitar once in a while in a show), these are made well enough for someone that doesn't abuse their gear.
Cons: Don't put the rate too high unless you're into spaceship sounds. Also make sure the battery is perfectly fresh, otherwise it will make an annoying screeching sound when it dies. Needless to say, rechargable 9volts or an adapter would be a worthwhile investment. The battery drain is the only thing that really keeps it from being 5-stars.
