The two things I love most about this book are the author's obvious passion for God and how he so faithfully relates the lives of biblical heroes to the pitfalls & opportunities we all experience in the contemporary age. Both cautionary and uplifting, the stories of the Ancients that Lutchman examines are every bit as relevant today as they were when the recording of their experiences was first inspired into Scripture thousands of years ago.
Leaders are Lutchman's primary target readers for this book, but it's just as germane to anyone who is committed to truly following the teachings of the Bible. This book is a challenge to every believer to grow in grace, to mature in leadership, and to steer far clear of the Danger Zone.
