I think one of the things I love most about the cast of players and story lines in this series (current and potential) is how incredibly unique and yet real it all is! This feels like a real family and set of friends that I could meet out and have a drink or two with. The best friends who find they’re HEA… the unlikely friends with benefits who turn into forever… every time I finish a book in The Finn Factor series, I WANT MORE!

We saw Ken and Brady in book 2, Scandalous, and from their brief encounters we knew that their story was going to be smokin’ hot. And oh boy – I was not disappointed!

Brady is at loose ends, suffering from PTSD and is having a hard time finding his place in his family and life now that he’s no longer a Marine. “It was strange, but that was always how he’d seen himself – as pieces of other people. A Finn. One of Sol’s boys. A Marine. But now he was trying to see himself without them. To see himself through another man’s eyes.” Ken is a successful hacker with excellent connections but he’s a loner and not sure how to depend on anyone since he’s only ever had himself. “…Tanaka was good at everything because he has to be. When you don’t know what it’s like to have family to rely on and people you trust, you’re all you’ve got.”

I loved that there was a hint of intrigue and suspense in the story to. With the threads that were left hanging we know that this is not the end of the Evil League of Evil (referenced by RG in the synopsis) – makes the imagination run wild as to what R.G. Alexander might have in store for us next!

Such a fantastic HEA ending for Ken and Brady! Brady put his big boy pants on and lived up to his declaration “You’re a Finn. We go all in or not at all.

I loved loved loved Curious, and Scandalous was pretty good, but this book just fell flat. I didn't care about either character because they didn't really have much of a personality, to the point that I kept forgetting who was who. The book didn't really have much of a climax either. The characters weren't together, then they gave in, then they got duped by the bad guys, then the book was over and supposedly they were in love.

I still think that the original characters--Owen, Jeremy, Stephen, Tasha--are very cute. I just felt like the author didn't care about these new characters and just needed to write this book before getting to the next one.

Dangerous is the third book in R. G. Alexander’s series entitled The Finn Factor. I have fallen head over heels in love with this series and the fantastically sexy, humourous, endearing and all-around sweet romances this author creates. She has also given us the Finn family. That…. that ladies and gentlemen…. is enough reason to read this series. Trust me!

I have also come to love Ms. Alexander’s “warnings” to readers when it comes to each book. Here is the one from this installment:

Warning: Explicit male/male sexy times. Voyeurism with a touch of noncon, role playing, rope. And, once again, very serious about the graphic gay sex. I’m not sure why you don’t believe me… Also? An Evil League of Evil! Good kink vs scary villain kink (you’ve been warned), Finn Club rules and the aftereffects of The Great Rumming of 2015. I SAID RUMMING. Dirty minds.

See! It definitely sets the tone of what you will read and is brilliant and hilarious.

Brady Finn is finally back amongst the Finn family. Being a Marine kept him deployed and away for quite some time. Coming back and reintegrating himself into civilian life once again has not been easy. Kenneth Tanaka is a man of many talents. He’s a hacker extraordinaire and a Dom who has a certain flare with ropes and likes his sex with a side of kink. No vanilla flavour for Master Tanaka! Both men meet when they become involved in an undercover operation (in the last book about a different couple). Now Ken needs Brady’s help in another dangerous investigation searching for a missing person in the dark underworld of BDSM. While Brady is willing to assist Ken in this mission, will he willingly give in to the explosive attraction these two men seem to have for one another?

I had to give it four stars because of the abrupt ending and because I was beyond shocked that this book ended at 74%! I hate when this happens and I'm not expecting it. This time is no different. However, just because it ended prematurely doesn't mean that I didn't love it. As with all of the other Finn Family books, my attention was captured on the first page and held until the very last. R.G.'s characters are flawless, so realistic and so lovable. I adore the Finn Family and am so happy that she is continuing with everyone's story. Dangerous is the story of Brady (a Finn cousin) and Ken, the Master Dom of the rope. We saw them together in Scandalous and now we get to see them up close and very personal. It was amazing. The push and pull of two alpha males and their struggle with each other, their relationship, their possession and their insane protectiveness. Although we had some angst and nail biting scenes, the overall picture of their love was incredible. It is a reminder that sometimes it isn't easy finding your "one" and sometimes it is even more difficult in keeping them. A beautiful love story of two men fighting for what they want and fully appreciating it once they get it.

Bonus Read - A Curious Proposal:

Wow, what a fabulous surprise! I have loved Owen and Jeremy since the first book, Curious, and this little short absolutely does NOT disappoint! After being together for a year already, Owen plans a getaway for them in a luxury cabin in the woods. Well, everything you see on the Internet is not always as it is (shocking, I know!). So, when they arrive at the dilapidated cabin, Owen is instantly regretful of his decision. However, Jeremy loves it and the idea that Owen would do something like this to make him happy.
