"...a powerful, sensually driven historical paranormal that is a testament to Ms. Burns' gift of keeping her readers spell-bound. Highly Recommended Reading!"
"Burns is masterful at escalating the sexual tension & suspense...Three generations of murder, stubborn ghosts, & an aging matriarch with attitude are the perfect compliment to a fantastic love story."
From the Author
Gothic romance has alwaysappealed to me because I love the supernatural, the tortured alpha hero whofalls in love with the strong heroine. A woman who is the hero's match in bothintelligence and sentiment. There's something so delicious about passion simmeringbeneath the surface that threatens to make the chemistry between the hero andheroine explode in a luscious display of passion. Gothic romance of the pastwas heroine centric, but in today's romance, the alpha hero gets his due aswell.
In Dangerous, I was able to blendmy love of gothic romance, historical romance, ancient Egypt and thesupernatural. But all of those things are second to my tortured alpha hero andmy strong leading lady. Their love is a passion that once fulfilled onlyintensifies until they must face the prospect of losing one another. And justlike Jane Eyre, Constance and Lucien find their HEA (Happily Ever After),albeit with the help of a ghost, a feisty old lady, a too smart for hisbritches boy, and a member of the Reckless Rockwoods plotting.
