In a world where technology has collapsed, it is those who live in the urban cities that see the most loss, the most suffering.
In a post-apocalyptic world, those who had their upbringing and life in the rural areas are the ones to rule and reign.
With time and technology seemingly reversed, books have once again become sacred and limited to a few.
Eleanor is an orphan who had lost her parents at a young age to bandits. Coping with her loss, she decides to train herself, in order to not face the same fate one day.
William is a swordsman of the library where important books are kept for safekeeping.
The book reminds me of a Legend of Zelda type of adventure. Following the two as they use their skills and their wits to subdue enemies and solve challenges.
While reading, I couldn’t help but think back to earlier days of Nintendo adventures.
It’s a fast read if you’ve played any game of the Legend of Zelda series.
I’d recommend it to anyone whose into action adventures, similar to the late series.
I enjoy reading this book has it is action packed and fast paced so I was never bored as I read through the pages. I strongly recommend this book for someone who loves books with post-apocalyptic theme.
