From the Author
I loved writing this series, and this book may be my favorite of the three! Duff is one very special hero. Ihope you'll enjoy reading about him as much as I enjoyed writing him.

Dangerously Bad would be an unusual take on a BDSM story for any author. It's the story of Duff, a Scotsman transplanted to New Orleans, who's come to help his cousin, Jamie, expand his business. Duff is more than just a Dominant. He doesn't just wear the persona or act the part. It's who he is in every single fiber of his being. No one can be in his presence for more than a few seconds without realizing just how assertive, commanding and powerful he is. It's no surprise he's so passionate about everything in his life, particularly BDSM and restoring classic motorcycles. He's a perfectionist in every way, and every submissive he's met since he landed in New Orleans wants to be with him.
But Duff doesn't want any of the submissives he's met in New Orleans. No, since the first night he went to The Bastille, New Orleans' premiere BDSM club, he's had his eye on Layla, another Dominant! Duff can't help but feel the instant attraction at his first sight of Layla. Her beautiful green eyes, creamy toffee-colored skin, beautiful dark brown hair hanging in curls around her face, all combine to make her the most beautiful woman he's ever seen. But it's not just her beauty that draws Duff in. She's just as feisty, strong-willed and Dominant as Duff. And she might even be a better Dominant than Duff! Watching her throw a flogger or a whip, seeing how she works with the submissives at the club, the joy she finds in her Dominance and the care she takes with her submissives...anyone can see just how amazing a Domme she is. But Duff sees something in Layla than no one else does, and he's determined to tame this woman. this Domme. And, Duff being Duff, he makes no secret of his plans, much to Layla's dismay.
Tensions escalate until Layla decides she's had enough of Duff's innuendos, sly glances and comments. She shows up at SGR Motorcycles one day to tell him in no uncertain terms to back off and leave her alone. She's a Domme. He's a Dom. There's no way there will EVER be anything between them. But somehow between the time she storms into Duff's workspace, exasperated and beyond angry, and the time she tears out of the place after a blowup between the two, Duff lays a blistering hot kiss on her so scorching that it turns her world on its end. After almost literally running from Duff's office, she races home to try to figure out just what the hell happened and why her plan to put Duff Stewart in his place went so wrong!
Duff and Layla both have pasts filled with trauma and pain making them who and what they are today. Dangerously Bad isn't just the story of two Dominants in the BDSM lifestyle battling it out for supremacy over each other. It's a unique tale of two people, damaged and broken in so many ways, each not absolutely sure what they're looking for, each one certain that they'll never find what they want or need out of life but still searching for something that will make their lives whole and meaningful. The reader makes the journey with Duff and Layla along a roller coaster ride of emotions, both past and present. This is the genuine story of two imperfect people who are making their way through life in the best way they know how, with all the twists, turns, pitfalls, highs and lows of that adventure. In doing so, Ms. Bradley takes the reader on an incredibly realistic journey through not only the world of BDSM as seen through the eyes of Duff and Layla but through every subtle detail of the lives they're trying to build.
Ms. Bradley is an active participant in the BDSM lifestyle and knows the detailed nuances of that lifestyle. The details and knowledge of BDSM as portrayed in her novels are incredibly accurate. But, for me personally, it's not just the BDSM itself that made me love this story. Yes, I have a fascination with this lifestyle. But Ms. Bradley is a true storyteller in every sense of the word and has the ability to craft real, believable. relatable characters that the reader becomes invested in. Both the main and supporting cast of characters are completely developed and fully detailed. I was completely riveted from the first page to the last. I've read all four of the books in the Dangerous series, although I haven't yet had time to review the second and third books. (Believe me, the reviews are coming very soon!) But each book in this series is so totally engaging and enthralling that you won't be able to put it down once you've started reading!
One final comment. This is an ADULT book. It contains BDSM themes, explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don't enjoy erotic romance with sexual/BDSM scenes and explicit language, PLEASE think hard before buying any book you know you won't enjoy. There's always a book synopsis on any bookseller's website with reviews available on Goodreads and any bookseller's website. PLEASE use these resources so you're sure the book you're buying is what you want to read. DON'T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON'T ENJOY THE BOOK. IT'S NOT FAIR TO THE AUTHOR! She works extremely hard to provide quality work. If you know before you buy any book that you'll object to the subject matter, you're doing yourself and the author an extreme disservice. But if you do enjoy erotic BDSM romances with amazing characters and storylines, I highly recommend Dangerously Bad. It's an amazing novel and you'll love it! I give my unqualified highest recommendation! Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
Duff and Layla couldn’t be more different, yet they are perfect for each other. Layla is determined to maintain a wall around her heart and never submit to another man. Duff is determined to tear down that wall stone by stone, with his bare hands if necessary. Their attraction to each other is immediate and palpable. It emanates from the pages and wraps itself around you like a living, breathing thing. Eden’s talent for crafting intensely beautiful kink adds luscious layers to these characters and serves to not only define but deepen their relationship. Dangerously Bad will overwhelm your emotions, stir up your libido, and leave you breathless and begging for more.
So, I excitedly dove into the book and then I stopped. The brakes went on for a couple of reasons. One, I’m not a fan of interracial books where it’s the woman. And it’s not because i’m racial, it’s because I put myself in the characters place, so that just turns it off for me. Then, the biggest reason...Layla is a Domme. That usually makes me just toss the book aside and be done with it, and when it’s the “male dom converts female domme into sub” storyline, I usually stay as far away from the book as I can, BUT this is Eden Bradley, so I decided to keep on going with it. I’m very glad I did.
Eden did a fantastic job with recent Scotland transplant Duff Stewart, cousin to Jaime. A hot Scot in a kilt with a killer bod and a brogue? Um, yeah. You can bet I’d convert from a domme, a vanilla chick, even a nun, to get my hands on Duff. Luckily, our Domme doesn’t take most of the book to decide to submit to Duff. (another of my toss the book reasons) Smart girl. The scenes the two of them have are so hot I needed the AC cranked on high. Eden writes incredible sex scenes. Once again, I’m just blown away.
