The Tactical Wallet was designed for the outdoor enthusiast that loves to keep things clean and needs to have tools easily accessible. There are over 14 functions built in. What can you carry in it? I keep 5 cards and some cash, but it can definitely hold more. I was carrying things that I most definitely didn't need in my older wallet.
Will you ever need the things this wallet features? Depends on your lifestyle, but I feel better having them than not. If I was ever in a bind, this is definitely good quality and will serve its purpose.
Will this wallet last? Very high quality materials.. but if anything gets damaged, they sell parts. You can also customize it with different parts they sell.
I did have a small issue with the leather section of the wallet, but I contacted the seller and the owner of the company emailed me and called me himself to make it right, and he did, he went above and beyond!
The bottom line? I would buy it again in a heartbeat. I would recommend it to others. By far the coolest wallet you can own.
From an ergonomically and use viewpoint this item is very difficult to use and dangerous. When I received it I took all the cards out of my old leather billfold and put them in the Dango. I put 3 cards in the leather section, however they wouldn't go in all the way and protruded some. Then I put 9 cards in the other part of the wallet in the frame section. In short I had 12 cards in it, which the manufacturer says it will hold. I then went to place it in my pocket and the hook got caught on my pants. So I flipped it upside down, but this has an issue also. If you flip it so that the hook is facing upward so it wont get caught on your pants, the lanyard loop ends up at the bottom and since the lanyard that came with it is extremely short it make the lanyard virtually useless. Putting it in your pocket is not the only issue, while taking it out your finger naturally drops into the recess where the hook is and I actually got cut, since it is very sharp. You shouldn't have to worry about getting cut and poked while reaching for your wallet. You also shouldn't have to worry about your pants getting cut up from a wallet.
If you do manage to get it out of your pocket without cutting your fingers or pants there are more issues with its use. The multi-tool is just about impossible to remove if you have the maximum number of cards in it, as the cards cover the area you need to grab. The only way I could get it out was to remove the cards on the frame side. Also getting to your cards is very difficult, when you push up on them the whole stack comes up along with the aluminum plate. The corner of the aluminum plate then gets caught on the band. I can't imagine this band lasting too long as the plate has some sharp corners and it will be just a matter of time before the band gets cut or worn away. You then have to take all the cards out to find the one you want because it's very difficult to flip through them with the band pressing down so hard. Also only the first three cards on the frame side are fully captured in the frame, all the others sit above the frame and can possibly fall out as the band gets looser over time.
In short, very nice looking and quality materials, but extremely difficult to use and dangerous. I can't understand why this item is so highly rated.
I have asked to return it and a refund and am waiting for manufacturer's reply. Well, the companies owner called me personally and refunded my money and was extremely apologetic. Everyone who sells on Amazon should take lessons from him. Phenomenal customer support!
Also, when trying to put the cards back, they get caught on the multitool..It's not impossible, but an unnecessary annoyance. After evaluating the multi tool, I desired to just chuck it in a drawer and insert another card or two. Feel like I wasted money getting the one with the Multi tool.
Finally, I wish the band was a bit wider, then It could function better as a money clip as well and keep the cards on the plate side a bit more secure.
Received a call from company at 7:30pm on a Friday...that, itself is worthy of an upgrade from 4 to 5 stars. The advice given as to break in period & means by which to carry cards are icing on the cake. Will now be integral part of EDC gear.
Any issues, they’ll talk you through, promise a trial period, and make right if it just doesn’t work, however, for those so inclined to purchase in the first place, I can’t imagine there being problems once it’s all given a real try. Very impressed by company and product at this point. All my cards now fit. No reservations whatsoever in my recommendation of this wallet.
