The Classic Collection

First when I received this it seemed to have been used ( I purchased a new item) I decided to keep regardless. After light use (6 weeks the band completely fell apart.

DW seems to have gone down hill form years ago. I have two other DWs and they lasted 4+ years. Do not buy this one!

This watch is so simple and versatile, I’m really happy with the purchase. The leather band has a sort of worn and rugged look to it which I think is really cool. I wasn’t sure what a 36mm watch looked like until I put this on and it’s definitely a lot smaller than I thought even based on pics I’d seen. Other than the slight surprise of it being smaller than I imagined everything else about the watch is great and for the price it’s excellent considering the slightly bigger 40mm size is over $100 more. Overall great purchase.

What else to say other than I love my new Daniel Wellington Classic Black Durham wristwatch. I really searched to find the most economical price and Amazon won out, even with conversion. This is my second DW wristwatch, I also own the 40mm Sheffield Classic in silver--I've had that one for three years and it is the watch I wear the most and get constant compliments on. (I recently had to replace the strap on that one, I've worn it so much.) This Black Durham is the opposite look of that one and I know I'll enjoy this one just as much.

Looks ok but the leather strap is too thick and doesn't bend around the wrist properly causing discomfort. It hurt my wrist. The watch face is very thin and should either have more pliable, softer leather strap to go with it, or the case should have been thicker. Not very well designed, not for comfort for sure

I'v had my Daniel Wellington watch for almost three months now, and the weekly use has caused it to fade very quickly, in the description for the watch strap I am told that "The Classic Petite Durham strap has a unique vintage look and is made from genuine American leather" but there is no way that this strap is Genuine leather..
At first glance the watch looks great but over a very short period of time it will look terrible and wore out, just very disappointed in the life span of "timeless" piece.

Consigliato per chi cerca un orologio elegante ma da indossare tutti i giorni, piccolo consiglio finale: se volete prenderlo assicuratevi che sia Amazon il venditore anche se spendete un po di più, così siete sicuri di ricevere l'orologio!!!

Questo è il secondo Daniel Wellington che acquisto (del quale sono soddisfatto) in quanto mi serviva un orologio più elegante (e con un altro quadrante) rispetto a quelli con il bracciale in tessuto. Conferma di aver acquistato un bell'orologio che fa anche la sua figura senza svenarmi.
E' arrivato nei tempi previsti, nella confezione originale e con la pellicola protettiva. Il diametro di 40 cm è l'ideale e non essendo molto spesso va bene anche per chi ha il polso piccolo (come il mio) senza sembrare esagerato. Ottimo anche come regalo.

Bitte auch die Negativ Punkte lesen.

WICHTIG:
Die hier als ausgewiesene "Männeruhr" besitzt ein unmännliches Armband! Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist dies viel zu kurz und gleicht einem Kinder Armband. Ich bin ein Normal Großer Mann mit einem Durchschnittlichen BMI und habe keine überdurchschnittliche große Handgelenke.

Positiv

- Das Gehäuse der Uhr ist "einfach" rundum gelungen
Manchmal ist schweigen Gold.. Das beschreibt, dass Gehäuse dieser Uhr sehr gut.
Es ist sehr leise durch seine minimalistisch Aufmachung und trotz das diese Uhr so einfach ist beeindruckt sie mich mehr als alle anderen Uhren auf dem Markt.
Sie gibt mir nicht nur das Gefühl die Zeit ab zu lesen, sondern hinterlässt ein Gefühl das man mehr Zeit bekommt und diese (durch das minimalistisch) besser zu nutzen.

Negativ

- 1 Stern Abzug für diese absolut unterirdische Verpackung
Und ich weiß auch nicht ob dies so gewollt, ist das die Uhr so in der Verpackung liegt!
Erster Moment der Reue, beim öffnen weil man sich denkt lieber beim Lokalen Händler für 10€ mehr kaufen.

- 2 Stern Abzug für das fehlende Marken/Preisschild an dem kleinem schwarzem Bändchen. Vermittelt den Eindruck das man für den vollen Preis keine "neue" eher "neuwertige" Ware bekommen hat.
Zweiter Moment der Reue!

- 3 Stern Abzug für das Armband, welches mich besonders sauer macht.
Es sieht anhand der Verfärbungen am Armband, zwischen den Löchern sehr gebraucht aus!
Und die Knicke zwischen den Löchern lassen auch zurückgegebene Ware vermuten.
Zurück gegebene Ware kommt für mich, einem Ausstellungsstück gleich, wo ich im Laden immer Rabatt bekomme und niemals den vollen Preis bezahle!

Wegen der Armband Geschichte von ganz Oben habe ich mich dazu entschlossen, die Uhr zu berhalten und "nochmals" drauf zu zahlen und mir neue Armbänder "die passen" zu bestellen.

Nachtrag: jetzt is ät das ding auch noch 3x stehen geblieben (über Nacht, grundlos) wird jetzt zurück geschickt!!!!

Als ich diese Uhr hier auf Amazon sah, habe ich mich in diese Uhr verliebt.😍
Auf dem Bild sieht es sehr Orange aus, ist aber nicht so. (siehe Bild)
Der Preis ist unschlagbar Vorallem wenn man weiß, dass eine Daniel Wellington Uhr normalerweise >100 € kostet.
Die Lieferzeit Betrug 2 Tage. Ich habe nichts an der Uhr oder sonstiges auszusetzen bis auf die Tatsache, dass leider kein Zettel mitgeliefert wurde worin steht, dass es sich um eine echte Daniel Wellington handelt. Wäre es mitgeliefert worden wäre ich äußerst zufrieden. Wenn die es nachträglich schicken könnten, wäre ich sehr dankbar dafür.
