A quality product made in the USA! What more could you ask for?
i have wide feet
with that being said it fit awesome for my right foot
the uppers are really comfortable
the foot bed is rather narrow on both sides it was better when another insole was added, but not enough for me to keep them.
i where a 12w in issue boots 13 in tennis shoes
i ordered 12EE and length was perfect width was not enough
a problem.. He wears them all day , and even though he broke the tiba bone in his ankle...the shoes give him great support. Its very important for him to have comfortable shoes , and these are , and light too..! Not heavy boots .
Cons: Might be too warm for very hot weather (Get the Hot Weather version)
I've been a hiker and hunter since I was old enough to walk. I've run so many boots into the ground I've long since lost track. In my experience, my hunting boots have always been more comfortable than my Army boots. As a Soldier I've tried a few different brands of boot, (ie. Rocky, 5.11, and Belleville) but until now I was never really amazed by any of them. I was happy with my last set of boots, but they took a considerable amount of time and blistering to break in. These Danner boots are amazing. I decided to try these over the Blackhawk boots because of my past experience with Danner as a hunting boot, and I am very happy I did. These boots are the most comfortable out of the box military boot I've ever put on. They are as comfortable as any boot I've ever owned, and I'm only just starting to break them in. I can't speak to the longevity of them yet, but my old Danner boots lasted me years of stomping around the woods. I can only assume these will hold up well too. My only problem is that after wearing these around for a little bit, I'm terrified that Danner will stop making them before I can order 5 more pairs. Finding a good boot for your particular feet is like dating. I've done my time, and I'm happy to say I'm ready to settle down. Danner has yet to disappoint.
Also, I wear a 9.5 Regular in the standard issue Army boots; I ordered a 9.5D(M) and they fit perfectly.
