"My grandson loves the two books and is looking forward to more!" - Diane Cybulski Grande (Jan 10, 2019)

"My 9 year old grandson and I just started reading this book and are really loving it. He would like to read the entire series now! Reasons Ienjoyed this book: Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Funny, Original."
- califnia55, BookBub (Jan 8, 2019)

"You have to admire a seven-year-old kid who is already writing, illustrating, and publishing his own books! Impressive! As for the story itself, it is as silly, funny, and entirely imaginative as you wouldexpect it to be coming from such a creative kid. I kept chuckling at the random humongous numbers interspersed throughout the book (15,487relatives, 4,982 jeeps, 240 dining tables, etc.), that is so much like a kid to think that up lol. I'm guessing the young author may have had ahelping hand with editing, since the book reads much better than youwould expect from a writer that young, which I think was a good idea. Iabsolutely loved the hand-drawn illustrations!"
- Maranda Russell, Children's Book Author and Blogger (Dec 25, 2018)

"Here's the moment we've been waiting for ... young author David T. Lee's fifthbook, "Danny and the Wrath of the Dinosaurs", is PUBLISHED! This is thefinal installment of David's action-packed series "The Adventures ofDanny Hoopenbiller". He wrote this 18,000-word story at age 12. It is avery funny, imaginative story with great writing skills and vividactions. Great literature and inspiration for others who want to publish a book! Kids from 8 to 15 will really enjoy reading it and they will be inspired to write their own stories. Reading David's book is unlikereading any other books. You will be amazed by how intricatelydescriptive his storytelling is. It's a feeling of watching awell-directed Hollywood movie - only better. You will be in awe when you read the first paragraph of the first chapter. I was not only attracted by the storyline but was enjoying each paragraph individually. Thescenes David described were so vivid that they appeared inside your mind (and you can't avoid that). Each sentence was crafted with a vision, carefully chosen wordings and frequently instilled humor and quotes from popular culture. All of the above was achieved by a young and talentedauthor by age 12. A 5-book series that will entertain anyone and inspire your kids to write."

- Tom Ingrassia (a motivational speaker, award-winning author, and radio personality) (Sep 22, 2016)

"Danny and the Portal of the World (mind if I just call it DPW? It will makeit much easier to write. Good? Good.) is a fun science fiction/sciencefantasy chapter book. At the time of publication, author David T Lee was only 7 years old. The book was a fun read, and I could see younger kids loving this book. The author weaves a sense of magic and wonder intothe book that gives it that fun feel. The novel is a short read, withshorter chapters, and will keep young readers engaged and interested. The pacing of the novel is great, and never gets disinteresting. Mixedin with all the fun scenes and engaging storytelling is a little bit ofhumor that's sure to make young readers laugh (I chuckled myself uponreading about Danny's 3,000+ relatives). The plot is funny, as is muchof the rest of the story, and readers of many ages will laugh at thehumor David has weaved into DPW. The one thing that, above all else, blows me away is the skill of the author. Lee was only 7 years old whenDPW was published, and the novel reads incredibly well. I can never getover the fact that he wrote it at such a young age. The only problem Ihad with the book was that it had very little action to propel the plotalong (although there is more action in the later installments in theseries), but I'm sure the audience of this book will not even realizethat. To sum up, this book was whimsical, fun, and the author is verytalented for his age."
- Tanner Walling, Author, Goodreads (Jun 26, 2016)

"This was a fast-paced novel and the author's best work yet. It has greatpacing and a plot line that is constantly shifting. Great for kids wholove action."
- Tanner Walling, Author, Goodreads (Jun 26, 2016)

"This book is the best. I love this book it is amazing. I cannot believe that you wrote this book when you were 7 years old."
- Gary, Amazon customer (April 13, 2016)

"David writes a well coherent story that is descriptive and engages the reader to not want to put the book down."
- Robbin Miller, Counselor, Cable TV Talk Show Host and Aurthor (Dec 21, 2015)

"Danny and his trip to outer space is a good read."
- Patricia Erickson (Nov 22, 2015)

"EJ loved it when I read the first few chapters of your first book to himthis morning. He loves your illustrations and enjoys listening to thestory being told to him."
- Robbin Miller, Counselor, Cable TV Talk Show Host and Aurthor (November 15, 2015)

"I like the story because it is futuristic. There is a character with my name. I really enjoyed reading it."
- Jack Corbett, Youth Philharmonic Orchestra Conductor (Nov 7, 2015)

"David is a talented young author who currently studying in middle school. Hewrote this book when he was 10 years old. His 4th book "Danny and theRevenge of the Dinosaurs" (20,000 words), the newest addition to hissci-fi adventure book series "The Adventures of Danny Hoopenbiller" isalso available in Kindle version. It is really a very imaginative,breath-taking action chapter book (with many hilarious moments as well)for anyone 6 or older. When I first read the story, I was totallysurprised by the characters, the technology, the locations, the plot and the complexity of the scenes David was trying to illustrate by words. This book will keep you on the edge of your seat. Share it with yourfriends and families! I highly recommend this book for kids age 6 to12!!!"
- Booksrfun (Sep 15, 2015)

"I am amazed that a 9 year old boy could write a 17,000 word book after he gave a presentation at my/his school."
- Sheila, 6th grade student (Dec 4, 2013)

"David, you have always been a strong writer, but you are growing by leaps andbounds! It's really fantastic to see. I think this was my favorite Danny story yet because the idea was so inventive (going back to the time ofthe meteor) and the dino villains are ones we are simultaneouslyfascinated with but also love to hate. This is one action-packedadventure! And you are quite adept at imagining and writing it. I alsolove your stellar vocabulary and use of similes and metaphors, whichmake me feel like I am right there in your story. That said, I am also a real fan of the plush and luxurious locations you invent. The RedBlossom Inn is awesome! I want to go there! I love your many details onpages 52 and 53. I also like that this scene lets us take a breatherfrom all the high-speed action; it's good for pacing. And it's funny how we as readers let our guards down and take a deep breath, just likeDanny and Johnny do."
- April Jones Prince, Children's Book Author and Editor (Dec 2, 2013)

"Dear David, Thank you for thinking of me and bringing a new copy of yourbook. I'm on chapter 5 and I love it. You have a great imagination. Youare progressing so quickly as a writer. I am proud of you."

The story hasplenty of action, and there is obviously a very creative and fertilemind behind it. David has a fabulous vocabulary and great use ofdetails, especially for being just seven years old. He also did a greatjob choosing which moments in the story to illustrate; the drawings ofthe 4,982 jeeps and SUVs and the amusement park are especiallywonderful. All in all, a great achievement at such a young age!"
