but decided to buy it because it is beautifully designed and seemed to fit our wish to warm ...
I ordered this with some trepidation since many reviewers said their item arrived chipped, but decided to buy it because it is beautifully designed and seemed to fit our wish to warm milk before frothing it for Italian-style coffee. We are so glad we did! We're just delighted with it-- the short wood handle scores both aesthetic and practical points, its soft white color makes it stand out just enough among other pots, and its weight and balance is just right. Dansk is an excellent company -- my wife and I are just delighted.

Love the versatility of this pan. The fact that the lid doubles as a trivet is genius. I leave it out on my cooktop as a showpiece as well as using it every day to cook my veggies. Love it!
Really cute and I use it a lot - It's a medium size and can reheat soup / beans and steam veggies well for a small family. Looks great on the table. The trivet lid doesn't work well if you had the lid on to cook - It obviously gets hot and steam collects in the lid. Not something you want to throw down on the table if you've used it for cooking. But, the lid does look great regardless. Some scratches have developed in the bottom like any other enameled cast iron pot.
I use it for sauces, reheating soup, warming mulled drinks, melting butter, making simple syrup, and even for making shoux pastry and caramel. While it’s not dishwasher cleanable due to the wooden handle, it’s probably the easiest pan I have to clean by hand. Not much sticks to the surface except for really sticky mixtures like caramel. Otherwise a quick soak will do the job.
bought it for myself, but my mom ended up being the one that uses it the most, made great soups in these. Very easy to clean, not so heavy, and aesthetically pleasing. The only thing is I wish it came with a heat protective handle so I don't have to use a tea towel every time to open the lid or hold the handles. But nonetheless it's a great casserole. love it!
Aesthetically lovely. Not as heavy as a Creuset, but excellent heat distribution and pretty good at non-stick. (I haven’t gone an burnt anything so can’t say how the ceramic would hold up but my sense is petty good as long as it isn’t scratched up). I hand-wash and it’s a bit awkward with the handles but then they are so petty. Using the lid as a trivet is genius and nice to look at :).
