Neither outdoes each other, but instead the writers have shown how batman's equipment and daredevils senses are on par, and how the red devil's subtle detections reveal to him the man behind the cole, whilst the dark detective is able to deduce daredevil's own secret identity. Completely on par, and totally different - yet similar. Even the stories of why they become superheroes is the same, come to think of it.
The artwork is quite square and uses too many straight lines for my liking, not enough attention to detail with shading and depth, which does make harvey dent just look like he's got bad sunburn on one side of his face for most of the comic. also, the storyline ends abruptly and seems to zig-zag around too much. That, and it hardly seems reasonable that two-face would come all the way into an else-worlds comic and drag batman with him, just to pull off a relatively small-time scam like this.
I'm glad the two have a second comic (king of new york), because this had so much potential, but pretty much flopped after thetwo heroes meet. even their initial fight seems motionless and cumbersome.
I'm still glad that i bought it - my two favourite superheroes meet - but actually, thats probably the only reason i'm glad i did so.
