I just didn't pay enough attention because I thought the compartments would be changeable (like you could make each section as big or as small as you wanted) but each of the walls are permanent. That is NOT a flaw with a product, it's a flaw with me paying attention haha

This is what I would consider sort of the bog standard for plastic bead-holders -- it's got the typical plastic snap closure, flat bottom, NON-ADJUSTABLE dividers, and just a basic rectangle so easily stacked. That is precisely what I was looking for, so I'm pleased! Sometimes I don't like the adjustable dividers bc the small pieces can slip through the bottom, so this is perfect. It's clear enough to see inside but sort of cloudy plastic, you know the kind.

I'm using it for LEGO, not small beads -- I always recommend containers with rounded bottoms for small beads.

If you just want the standard, cheap divider like you would find at every craft store, this is what you want.

We all accumulate tiny things that come with stuff we buy-- little tools or extra parts that are hard to keep up with like screws, adapters for micro SD cards, a pin to open something, extra buckle, etc. I can't ever find that stuff when I need it so I wanted one place to look when I need that tiny thing. A container with dividers to keep things from getting all jumbled together. Something see-through so it's easy to see everything.

I was leery of this box because the price was so low, but it's turned out to be very well done. The compartment dividers reach up to the lid so items can't get mixed together moving from one cell to the next. My cat did the "flip it off the counter so it lands upside down" test-- no problem. The lid fits snugly so nothing falls out, but the container is easy to open. It's translucent, so I can see everything without opening the lid. The dividers can't be rearranged, but it's great for my purposes. (Suggestion-- I put little stick-on labels on the back of each compartment because I forget what some of that little stuff is & where it came from)

It was finally time to put it all on bobbins, color sort, and pack them in boxes for safekeeping.

These boxes are perfect. The individual squares fit the bobbins perfectly. They seal well and stay closed. The plastic is semi-transparent. I can see colors through the plastic but not real details. I think the hinges are ok, but I’m not in each box every day.
There is a slight plastic smell that dispersed quickly and was not an issue for me. They stack well, too

I’d highly recommend these for your floss storage, or for other small crafting items you’d like to organize.

The sizes Darice have are my favorite for jewelry making supplies and beads. Most boxes you find on here are for tiny seed beads or under 4mm sizes. These will hold your 7-8-9mm nicely. The lids could be a bit clearer, but you can basically see what you've got in each one.
