I love the hefty feel of this brayer. It's pretty big, so it's for larger work. I love using it with my gel plate for monoprints. It cleans easily, which is a good thing, since I'm very messy, lol. I also use it for regular pressing duty -- making sure glued things lie flat and such. I need to pick up a smaller one at some point but for now, I'm perfectly happy with this as my main craft brayer.

For the price this is a solid cheap option. Keep in mind, this is in consideration to it's price. It's good for most basic needs and gets the job done. Firm rubber. Mostly true and round. One thing that I really like about this compared to other lower priced options is that it allows itself to be placed roller up so that you don't end up with flat spots.

I have been using this brayer for making origami flowers for my wedding centerpieces and when I have to make so many it makes the folding/creasing part of the job MUCH easier! It looks really sturdy , & it works fine by just using a little pressure to make sure the ink was evenly distributed, the medal cone over the handle came off and was sliding back & forth. Not a big deal other than the fact it was a first time use. I'll have my husband glue it on or Oromo it maybe.
I'll update later if I have any other problems as I use it.
