Not Card Stock

I ordered this product because I needed card stock to print price tags for a consignment sale. The tags must be printed on card stock so the tag won't tear when pinned to clothes. This is not really card stock at all, it's more of a heavy paper. I was very disappointed because I couldn't use this for my original intention. I was able to use this for some invitations and informational sheets for my essential oils, but that's about it. I definitely should have read the reviews more closely - I would have ordered something different. I ended up having to buy some card stock from the store so I could get my tags printed. Very disappointed.

Light Grey, Not White Paper

I was very disappointed in this "stock" paper. First of all its not white. It is a light grey and dull. I posted a picture next to the other white paper that I have to show the contrast. I would not consider this a "card stock" quality. I would have returned it but I already used a few sheets and because of the lighting in my room, I didn't notice how dull it was right away until I laid a piece of one of the sheets by the other white paper that I have, and that is when I noticed it. I should have looked further on Amazon for a better product.

Pros: Decent cardstock product. Decent being the key word. Runs well through the printer.
Cons: Not a bright white. Glossy hand. Light weight for a 65# paper.

Notes: I bought this paper to finish out a large project. I read the other reviews and didn't think the comments about this paper not being a "true white" mattered. Until it did. I had been using a Wausau Papers Astro Brights 65# cover white card stock. When I pulled this Darcie product out of the package, the two did not compare well at all. The Astro Brights was a true white. Like a Playtex 18 hour bra straight out of the box white. Brand new tighty-whitey white. The Darcie paper put up against the Astro Brights actually looked "dove gray". I was finishing a large Girl Scout project and had to convince myself that the different shades of white wouldn't matter to 50 Daisies and Brownies, even thought it mattered to me. The Darcie paper also did not feel as heavy, nor did it feel as fibrous. It felt more glossy and light weight. Not unlike the disappointment of switching to a microfiber sheet after having organic cotton.

Okay, so now I am a paper snob. If you are too, don't purchase this paper. You will be sorely disappointed.

If you just need to get on with life and get your print job done, this paper will do the job. But at the +$8.50 that I paid, I do not feel it was a great value.

I wasn't overly impressed with this product. The "cardstock" was very flimsy which was disappointing. I ordered several different colors for a project and no other brand was this lightweight. I was really disappointed. If I hadn't needed them for immediate use I would have probably sent them back.

Great quality card stock paper that was purchased for a school project (as student cards for Plickers, if you are familiar with that app). Some card stock paper is pretty thin or has a strange texture it, but this paper is as thick as the back of a good quality birthday card and is smooth. I wanted a paper that was rigid enough to not bend over when help up, and this does the trick. Paper is a good quality, and the price is great. I was pleased with it, and I think you will be too.

Not 'Card Stock"

I admit it. I did see the negative reviews but I also saw that according to the product reviews that this 'white' card stock was "Amazons First Choice" for white card stock. I like to give products the benefit of the doubt so I bought it. This paper does not at all feel like 65 pound card stock. I have been buying laser friendly 65 # card stock from the Copy store. It was high quality. Thick, substantial in weight. I've been printing out pictures on a printer and then gluing the pictures onto greeting cards. This paper was so thin you can see through it. If you put glue on it the paper curls. Also The color is not a true white. Like other reviewers said it is grey. When you print out pictures on the colors are not clear or true because of the inferiority of the paper quality. I rarely leave bad reviews but I wish I hadn't wasted my money. Go to Joanne Fabrics or Hobby Lobby if you want a high quality craft card stock.

For the price of the paper I am satisfied with this product. The only issue is the color is not a bright white. Since I have no requirements and merely need a lightweight card stock it’s fine. I noticed it’s a matte finish. It takes color printing well. Overall very nice. With my printer I did have to be very careful to let them dry thoroughly before handling or it smudged. My printer is inexpensive and that’s probably more the issue.

Using this to create different decorations in my classroom and love it! It came packaged nice, none of the corners were bent, and it was even sealed twice to ensure it didn't get wet in transition to me. This is a thicker cardstock than just normal printer paper, which is exactly what I was needing. I am using the left over pages (comes with 50 total) for bridal shower games. I have tested it with a pen, sharpie, and papermate ink flairs. The only one that bled through was the sharpie, however it really wasn't bad and still looked GREAT! I will be reordering the product in the future if I need anymore cardstock.

Thinnest "card stock" I've ever purchased...

This product barely constitutes as "card stock" - it's basically slightly thicker printer paper. I needed these for my store to fold t-shirts around since my old supplier has stopped making the product that I've been using for the last several years, however, these literally don't even get the job done. The t-shirt is heavier than the card stock and just crushes the paper under its weight folding in on itself...

Just annoying because there is no refunds on this item and now I have to wait another 2-3 days to get the right product... It isn't even about the $5, but it's unfortunate that this ream of paper is of no use to me and is going to end up in a landfill somewhere. I uploaded a video that I recorded whilst writing this up which showcases just how flimsy this "card stock" is...

Very thin. I am unable to use this for its intended purpose. It’s actually not much thicker than regular paper. Wish I had only bought one pack as I am unable to return.
I was counting on this card stock to make manipulatives for my students as we are rural and unable to purchase it anywhere close... would not stand up in the classroom, even after laminating.

I was excited to wait for the card stock to arrive so that I can start my project.
After I opened the package and test it, the paper is super thin, definitely not card stock at all.
I purchased 50lbs card stock from Michael and it's even thicker than this so-called 65lbs card stock.

I am so disappointed and definitely not recommend it, or the seller should change their description!!
I tried to return this and now allow me to.

If seller can see this, can you please contact me and I would like to exchange to some real card stock that is heavier please?

I liked this product when I bought it about 6 months ago but now it’s a lot thinner... when I hold it next to a piece from the old pack you can feel a drastic difference. I like to use this cardstock to print my study notes on thick paper since I know I’ll be using them a lot and want them to last. This thin paper will be good enough for that but I wouldn’t recommend it for any art or card making
