I ordered this Darice set because I was looking for a hobby. I ordered some crochet needles then I saw these things and figured , hey what the heck, I'll give this a go. I recieved this in the mail, and looked over the directions that came with them. Honestly they suck. The pictures are numbered, but don't really correspond with the numbered direction step. I tried in vain to follow them only to get frustrated and want to give up. I took a break and when to YouTube. I found some great video tutorials over there and was loom knitting in no time! With ine 5 hours I have made one preemie hat (with a brim and pom pom) and half a scarf (both two tone). I'm guessing these are the knock off of the Khifty Knitter brand. The colors don't match, but it's kind of easy to match them up when watching YouTube videos.
On to the size:
The Blue one: This will make a PREEMIE hat ( I think there is no way this would fit a full term infant); I'm also using this loom to make the scarf
The Green one: This would make infant/ toddler hats
The Orange one: Good for older child/ Adult hat
The Pink one: I guess an XL for some on with puffy hair, of if you use a soft yarn that has little strech or a lot of shrinkage.
You can also make flat scarves of panels on these looms (check YouTube for ideas). I am in the process of learning more stitches to complete on these, as I am only doing the basic so far (the one demo'ed on the back of the pack)
I have had a few pegs pop out on me in the beginning, but it was because I was looping the yarn (I'm using Red Heart Super Saver brand) too tight and it was yanking them out. They snap back in, and I haven't had a problem since. The tool and the needle work well without defect. I will upload pictures upon completion of the scarf.

Fun, easy, bought a 2nd set for a friend, LOVE these looms!!!

I LOVE this loom set! I’d purchased a single large loom (same size as the biggest one in this set) at a thrift store down time ago, but hadn’t touched it. Then I came across a YouTube video for a loom knit cowl scarf. I tried it on that loom, fell in love with the process, and HAD to have more! So I ordered the four piece set AND the mini loom I believe is available through this same link. I’ve used them all, and am VERY pleased! The smallest of the four looms in this set makes a baby hat fit for a younger infant, the next size up makes for a nice toddler hat (a little snug on my three year old), the third size up makes a hat that fits all three of my kids (3.5, 6, 8)... i also discovered that my skeins of Bernat Blanket Brights variegated yarn look awesome on these looms! The second smallest gives the hat a ‘dashed’ look and I got an amazing swirl pattern when working on the second biggest loom! I will try to include pictures.After purchasing this for myself, I even purchased a second set for my best friend, along with the mini loom (which fits inside the smallest loom of this set when it’s inside the included storage bag!). After purchasing this for myself, I even purchased a second set for my best friend, along with the mini loom (which fits inside the smallest loom of this set when it’s inside the included storage bag!). She is obsessed with loom knitting now, too! I even bought a mini loom for each of my kids; it doesn’t hold my 3.5-year-old’s attention for long, but his little friend of the same age was fascinated, my friend’s 4-year-old daughter loves hers, and my 6 and 8 year olds think loom knitting is GREAT fun!!
