I think this book is a lot more emotional than the first book. It also frustrated me a lot more. With this book I found myself having to take a break as I wanted to grab the characters by the hair and make them realize just how much they love one another. This book takes place starting Easter weekend and on. The things that we discover in the beginning truly shock and rock their relationship. Just when everything seems to be going great and they are working their stuff out, boom, a new twist in the book. I will say, I was so touched at the dare that Finn does, and that we has willing to do it on television for everyone to know that he was taken. But insecurities run through not only Hadley's head, but also through Finn's head. They both think they are not enough for one another and that the other will go tired of them, thus leaving them heartbroken
We are taken through a crazy ride with this couple and even though they infuriate me sometimes I still enjoyed every second of it! A lot of issues that this couple struggle through are very real and you can feel it in the way that they argued.Read more ›
Did I mention this is a 5 star read? AND Finn is definitely on the book boyfriend list.
While visiting with his family over Easter, Finn and Hadley’s relationship hits SEVERAL bumps. He is madly in love with his ‘Becks’. Hadley loves him just as much and both are committed to being with one another forever. However, Hadley desperately wants to get married and have Finn’s children while Finn is dead set against the institution of marriage. He’s convinced their relationship will fail if they are married and he says he won’t survive if she ever leaves him. His reason for living will be gone (swoon).
There are a series of misunderstanding, mostly based on the fact that they do not know how to communicate their real feelings to one another, that leads to loud and hurtful fights but ends with sweet, loving make-ups.
There is a HUGE issue towards the end of the book that causes Hadley to step back and really look at what she wants (always Finn, she’ll never not want Finn).
I think Ren hit every emotion I had again with this book. I laughed, loved and cried along with the characters in this book. Not many books can touch you like this series has touched me. I am not so patiently awaiting the next release of this series (Igniting The Wild Sparks). I wish it was available NOW!
I’m so glad I was introduced to this author. She has a fan in me with whatever she writes!

Out of the three books, this was not my favorite. More of what happens in book one continues. Very frustrating couple. A bit angst.Published 21 months ago by Lauren
