In this book Mary Bennett states her belief that extra terrestrial aliens built Stone Henge and create crop circles today to communicate with humans. Everything is this book has been thoroughly debunked by several competent physicists and scientists. Co-author David Percy is a master of manipulating apophenia which is the human tendency to perceive meaningful patterns in random data. More specifically Percy preys on the tendency of humans to see imagery where none exists which is called pareidolia.
Please note that the authors of Dark Moon, make a point of stating (in the prologue): "We are not claiming that astronauts from Earth have never walked on the Moon." What does this imply? Simply that the citizens of this planet have not been told the complete truth about the collective (USA, USSR) adventures in space, including missions to Moon. This book makes a strong case for the possibility of (at the very least) two separate space programs sponsored by NASA & Co., one for public consumption and the other for the DOD (aka. military industrial complex), or what Joseph P. Farrell might call "the deep state". Whatever one might call it, they have a vested interest in keeping secrets and fabricating alternative narratives. One question that has always bothered me, was the abrupt closing of the Apollo program, where the excuses ranged from lack of public interest, to cost overruns , and even the Viet Nam war? All of these reek of disinformation to hide some other "inconvenient truth" (thank you Al Gore your contribution is noted). Another was the realization that many Apollo era astronauts acted like men who had the burden of keeping a 'Big' secret, especially Neil Armstrong [there is an interesting quote from a speech he gave to students about truth, which I will post when I find it].
The authors who happen to be British (viewing from outside and not biased by patriotism), start by questioning the photographic record, the film, the cameras, the extreme temperatures encountered (plus/minus180 deg. F) that camera and film would have to contend with: not to mention divergence of shadows from multiple light sources (only one Sun last I checked - shadows should all go in one direction) found on pictures taken (allegedly) on the surface of the Moon. In addition there is radiation data that does not match reality (is this why astronauts are now confined to LEO, "Low Earth Orbit" missions to and from ISS where it is relatively safe?); incongruence and discrepancy ad infinitum.
This turns out to be just the tip of 'one' iceberg (so to speak), as the authors go on to question mainstream physics (Newtonian, Einstein, gravity, light-speed, etc.) as we understand it, as well as the validity of so called "intelligent" structures on Mars. There is a lot to ponder for the reader that has questioned some (or all) of these subjects, or has like myself, found through years of research that there is much to legitimately question.
Is everything a conspiracy theory? No! Have the governments of the U.S. and the former USSR (or most other nation-states for that matter) ever been known for full disclosure (concerning anything) to their citizens or the general public at large? That would be a stretch of anyone's imagination, Some of the hypothesis that the authors pose during the course of their book are, if not controversial (which they are), then game changing and revolutionary, as to how we grow as an intelligent species, one who has aspirations of exploring the universe around us.
Anyway, Mary Bennett and David S. Percy make a very strong case, based on scientific evidence, that the NASA Moon Landings were a hoax. That is not to say that the Americans didn't go to the moon, only that if they did go, it was not with our present state of technology, which the authors themselves articulate quite well.
There are many reasons to support the Moon Landings as a hoax, but the most convincing evidence is the Van Allen Belts, named after Dr. James Van Allen who discovered the radiation belts around the Earth in 1958. To travel through the belts on the way to the moon, would take approximately 2 hours, and of course 2 hours to travel through them on the way back. The authors present plenty of evidence of the lethal
dose of radiation the astronauts would recieve if they were to even attempt travelling through these radiation belts. But as I read elsewhere, it is Dr. Van Allen's successor himself that is most convincing with his condescending comments in response to questions about the Van Allen belts during the supposed Apollo missions when he said, "Well it must be safe. We went to the moon and back." Statements like this encourage people like myself to seek out the truth.
There are a lot of other anomalies about the Apollo missions too numerous to mention here, including the strange behaviour of the astronauts themselves, especially Neil Armstrong. He was supposed to have been the first man on the Moon. You would think that he would be out there at every opportunity trying to inspire people of all ages to get involved in science. Instead, what does Armstrong do? He goes into seclusion for almost 40 years and when he does give interviews, it is carefully scripted. In case people have forgotten, it is the average taxpayer who financed these missions, so the least Armstrong could have done, was communicate with the very people who supported him! If he was that private a man, they could easliy have given the job to someone else.
So reading this book will hopefully encourage you to at least question the Moon mission landings, or even convince you the missions were a hoax. So I recommend reading this important work as well as checking out their website.
Reseachers like Bennett and Percy are very rare, so do yourself a favour and enlighten yourselves. Yes, it is upsetting to learn that what you were taught in school was a lie. But to maintain that belief, is to live in ignorance. You owe it to yourself and others, to learn the truth. The truth is a sure path to freedom.
