"A celebration of the wackiest, craziest, most outright fun elements of the DC Universe." --Entertainment Weekly

"Big, bananas, crazy fun." --Nerdist
"A big, crazy story--a story that feels like going to a huge rock concert." --Polygon
"An awesome blend of bombastic action and vast cosmic conspiracies." --IGN
"This comics team [of Scott Snyder and Greg Capullo]is the real dynamic duo...definitely enjoyable, even to the casual comic fan. You can follow the story well enough, but this team is also packing in years and years of Batman backstory." --Mashable

Going into the story it is important to know a little about who hawkman is so just do a quick wiki fandom search. If you can't be bothered the story does a reasonable job of explaining as you go along.
Probably one of my favourite storylines so far. Everything is spoilers so just read it and enjoy!
Very original, off the wall, and bat-sh*t crazy! This is an "event" that constantly surprises and twists at almost every page. The similarities between MZ are horror, gore, crossovers (you pretty much get all the major DC heros) and universes, yet whereas MZ had better humour, DN:M feels just a slight bit more original.
I have also read Dark Nights Rising and The Resistance, but this one is my favourite as it contains both start and conclusion and can be read on its own.
