Psychic investigator Nathan Turner arrives to help, and things begin to escalate from there. This is a very good story, spooky, suspenseful; a page-turner. It delves into ancient witchcraft and alchemy. I loved it. The ending was satisfying. I won't say good or bad-a bit of both. But the book is a definite keeper. I recommend it to all who are interested in ghost stories and/or the paranormal.
There's no graphic violence, no language, no sex, yet it still manages to keep the reader riveted.
The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five was because the author did tend to head-jump several times, going from one character's POV to another's without notice. Still, it didn't distract from the great story.
