    Gameplay: 4 Stars. I get that the game is older, but fair warning to other players. Although I am not sure if anyone else is having these issues? The gameplay itself is rather glitchy on PS4. Not sure if Supermassive Games' will ever fix the lag on the QT's; I don't have this issue with the PC version, or the scenario scenes that skip forward without any warning? It's like someone splicing a movie together poorly at times, and it jumps to a whole other scene, which could be part of the 'choices' you're making, but it is a rocky transition. That is the best way I can explain it. It was still fun! Nice story! Frustrating because of the issues on the PS4, but truly fun and creepy game to playthrough.

    No direct spoilers in this review but i will mention several situations that occur in the vague terms.

    Now with that said, Supermassive games produced a fun narrative based game in my opinion that is well worth the 30 dollar asking price and definitely something you should look into for the upcoming(at the time of writing) Halloween Holiday. The Game itself will last you 6 to 8 hours on the first run depending on how you do and how long you take. You won't probably find everything and you may run into a few things that change your view point of situations on the second run by even simply taking a character outside for a breath of fresh air or now that you have more information on what's happening. It balances a decent amount of "is this supernatural or is this sci-fi?" with it's plot at first before around the 2/3rd point taking a hard undeniable stance on what's happening and why. The only thing I will say is... by complete accident/just by doing what I feel is basic game play, I saved every playable character who isn't destined to die regardless of choices. Now, I'm also a huge horror fan who enjoys everything from Candyman to Shrooms to Midnight Meat Train & The VVitch, so I'm use to jump scares, mind trip & sudden changes in environment and thus not easily shaken when it comes to those things, so keep that in mind you may not be as prepared.

    The plot is rather boilerplate "Group of young 20 somethings stumble on to something huge" but the fact you can control the characters allows you to keep them from doing some stupid decisions, one notable one I wish we could control is a character who flashes their money in a very obnoxious way who seemingly makes things worse. If you like mysteries this is a decent one but not mind bending/out there or genius in it's execution but a nice diversion to put your brain to.

    There is a "Co-op" option which is basically passing it on whenever the game changes characters, I didn't touch it but know it may be a good party option.

    Oh and "quit out/close the game because i made a mistake" DOESN'T WORK. the game saves the MOMENT the choice/mistake is made. so know once your choice is locked in its LOCKED IN however once you beat the game you can go back to select chapters and play from there and see what differences you can do.

If you like decision based gameplay like "until dawn, life is strange and tell tale games" you will love this. There were multiple times where it seemed the quality of the graphics faded, changed or were choppy, but not too bad. However I would say this game is 100 percent worth it, and the fact that any character can live or die based on your decisions creates great replay value.
