    If you are a hardcore Dark Souls fan, you might like this game. A lot of the old school fans complain that it is way too easy.

    However, I am not an old school fan. I just recently got into the Dark Souls series starting with Dark Souls 2. I gotta say, I am very impressed with this game. If you are on the fence about buying Dark Souls 3 and you are new to the series, there are a few things that you should know:

    1. This game does not hold your hand at all. This includes the storyline. A lot of that is left to the player to figure out by finding different lore throughout the world.

    2. The boss fights can be very difficult and rage-inducing. But, once you figure out the game mechanics and the timing of everything, you'll be in tip-top shape!

    3. It is a fairly long game. So if you are worried about spending the money, just know that you will be getting value out of it.

    All in all I think Dark Souls is a VERY enjoyable game if you like a challenge. Game on!

    The ONLY reason I'm giving a 3-star rating is due to the fact that this game is HORRENDOUSLY optimized for Xbox One. I'm talking frame drops in the simplest of areas when there is more than 3 enemies attacking me (esp Lothric Castle, late game).

    The game also has some bugs that occur (like exploding crossbow bolts hitting me through walls and map environments, enemy spawns being broken, etc.)

    Otherwise, the game still never ceases to entertain me!

    One of the best games made over the past 5 years. If you are in the fence about purchasing this game, I say you DO IT! Especially if you like RPG games (ex: Fable, Diablo, Fallout, etc...)

    This game is extremely tough though, and will require that you have the patience of God himself. BEWARE: I would suggest never playing this game when angry, as it will only lead to controllers being thrown at the walls or TV.
