I am not sure what the premise of the disc is supposed to be in all honesty. I have never been a big Eerie Von fan at all and with 1 disc just dedicated to him that kinda turned me off but after seeing the second disc I was definatly intrigued specially for the LOW price of (...)On the third disc we get a great disc of Die Laughing. The songs by them that are good are amazing and the ones that arent as good usually wind up bieng terrible. The songs on the third disc seem to be some of the best work I have heard from the band. Going back to the second disc It's the main reason to buy this box set - its amazing! Starting with a mix of Clown that was available before just as a bside. Other highlights are the cover of do you really want to hurt me & the remix of Gary Numan's Are friends electric. As a whole i liked the box set eneough to get but if someone is just starting into the gothic music scene i would suggest The unquiet grave Vol 3 or Death for Life:an aids tribute for starters. For other suggestions please check out my lists of recomendations of gothic music

*note!* I don't actually own this CD but . . .
I'm pretty disappointed in Cleopatra for this release.
I KNOW for a fact that disc 3 is just a re-release of Die Laughing's 'Incarnations' CD (which, by coincidence I'm listening to right now)
I wouldn't be surprised if disc 1 is a re-release of an Eerie Von disc.
disc 2 looks like a decent compilation.
why couldn't they have just re-released Die Laughing and Eerie Von on their own, then put out the compilation disc by itself?
ah well.
