HIKER BOOT SOCK FULL CUSHION
The sock that made a name for itself from the Pacific Crest Trail to the AT. "Must pack" durability meets undeniable comfort in a Full Cushion sock that absorbs the rigors of the trail.
Thru-Hikers logging hundreds of miles on the long trails of America have long coveted our hiking socks because they deliver the ultimate in comfort, durability and fit when failure is simply not an option. Their endorsement means a lot to us since creating socks that over-deliver in the most demanding trail conditions has always been at the core of our mission. So whether it’s Denali or just a day hike, with Darn Tough you’ll have the world’s best hiking sock under foot.
High Density Knit
There are more stitches per inch, which means a more comfortable, durable, great fitting sock with no added bulk. Darn Tough's signature knitting reinforces common wear zones for what will seem like trail magic all its own.
Mid-level cushion density underfoot. A warm and ultra comfortable choice when conditions demand it. The cushion inside the sock is ready to rebound all day every day so you can hike longer and trek further.

Using the latest generation of Italian knitting machines, Darn Tough is able to knit ultra-light yet extremely durable socks with and undetectable toe seam. The feature never noticed because there's nothing to feel but bliss in your boot or trail runner.
Form fitting and designed to ensure a custom fit. Which means no slipping, no bunching, and no blisters. The smooth ribbed support for this Micro Crew height sock will keep you moving on which ever trail you choose.

Darn Tough socks are that good. Too good to be true. But it is true.
I know it's true based on my own personal experience & my own feet's experience.
O the stories, the beautiful stories, the heart-warming stories, the foot-warming stories that my blister-free feet could tell you – if only they could speak for themselves. If only!
It took me four years of walking and walking and walking … hundreds and hundreds … and then thousands … of miles, miles, miles … to wear out my first pair of Darn Tough socks.
During those four years, pair after pair of other socks (not Darn Tough) wore out & got tossed out. But not my Darn Toughs. My Darn Toughs hung tough.
Yes, Darn Tough socks may SEEM a tad expensive at first blush. But over time, in the long run, Darn Tough socks are extremely economical. They pay for themselves, so to speak, if you calculate the cost PER MILE.
In addition, Darn Tough socks give you the incalculable benefits of peace of mind, comfort of feet, and freedom from blisters.
Bottom line: My Darn Tough socks gave me more than my money's worth. Much more.
As if that were not enough, on top of all of the above, Darn Tough's customer service was more than happy to exchange my four-year-old worn-out pair of socks for a brand-new pair -- without delay!
Same quality. Same style. Same color. Same everything. Except brand new.
I am a Doubting Thomas by name and by nature. But when it comes to Darn Tough's socks, Darn Tough's lifetime warranty, and Darn Tough's customer service, I am a Doubting Thomas turned die-hard believer.
Good product. Good people. Perfect.
Secondly, I love this company. I’ve returned two pair that got snagged and they promptly credited me for a new pair with free quick shipping.
Thirdly, yes, they look expensive. After owning a pair you’ll not think twice about that price based on what you get. You get the lifetime guarantee—which they stand behind—and you get the amazing quality.
I took a gamble on this brand the first time when going to Colorado in the winter. I thought I may need quality, warm socks. I didn’t realize how it would impact me.
After returning, I threw away just about every other sock I owned. I kept dress socks, for a while. I then proceeded to order several pairs. Then more as time went on.
I worked in the field and didn’t realize that my previous socks sucked. I would get sweaty and stinky and blistery. My socks were soaked the end of the day.
That is, until Darn Tough. It was amazing when I realized that it didn’t just keep my feet warm in Colorado, it kept my feet comfortable in the central Texas summer heat (110F) walking through mud and swamps! My feet didn’t cramp from being cramped in my boots all day. I don’t feel the stitches or seems. I’m telling you, they could call these socks “Darn comfortable” and they would be telling the truth in that regard, as well!
Yeah, I know, it sounds crazy, but from that moment on, merino wool has been a favorite of mine, and no other socks will do.
They stay comfortable, they don’t itch and my socks stay in place and they are rugged but soft.
Seriously. I’m not paid to say this, I didn’t get anything discounted or free, but I really love these socks.
I’ve ordered pairs for my wife, my mom, mother in law, aunts, friends, etc… I haven’t heard one person complain about them, but have heard all of them say great things. I’ve been asked to help them order more, many times.
This really is my goto recommendation for socks and a sock company. I’m not sure which is more tough, but both the product and the company are darn tough on their quality and desire to please the customer. I think this company is fantastic, and I bet you will, too!
Most highly recommend (not just this model but the whole brand).

They offer a lifetime warranty, but the joke's on us: they never show any wear.
When I posted this, I see 89% 5-star reviews. That about says it all. Best socks you can get.
If you like your feet this is a must, even for everyday wear!

Excellent sock & would highly recommend them.
Having used a number of sock brands for trekking and later for work (wick dry when pounding the pavement), Darn Tough comes out on top over and over. Have used them in the Himalayas, and Kilimanjaro as well as weekends in the Rockies. They don't cause blisters and are extremely comfortable. I prefer the heavy padded ones, but all are of excellent quality, don't bag and fit nicely.
