(Review is on Disc one) Video quality is 3.5 out of 5 even on a 65" inch TV. Very little distortion and prints look fairly decent. Audio on the first episode is atrocious..so bad that after choosing every single option on my amplifier from Prologic to Mono it was about 25% undecipherable making it worthless. Episode two had some improvement and so did the remaining EP's. The original theme seemed to have been replaced on episodes 2 and 4 although 1 & 3 maintained the original "trumpet" intro. It is rather obvious no attempt was made to remaster / clean these EP's up. Be prepared to tweak your system until you find the best audio setting, it's weak mono all the way.
Adult value: once you get past episode one, the true entertainment from a remembrance sake surfaces. EP # 2 is good but 3 & 4 get better. Good reminder lessons even as an adult are worthwhile. Story lines are of course meant for the younger audience but still entertaining. Goliaths character is as humourous as you would remember.
For the price you can't beat it provided you are an avid fan or are attempting to offer traditional good ole fashioned human values to you and your family.
