Editorial Reviews

This stunning retrospective features a comprehensive and detailed study of the music of David Bowie and the Spiders From Mars, during the breakthrough period from the late sixties to the mid-seventies when Bowie rose from obscurity to superstardom. This unique film draws on rare footage of Bowie and the Spiders performing live on stage, and goes behind the scenes to discover the influences which shaped the early years of David Bowies recording career. The 72-page colour book features an in-depth biography and a track-by-track analysis of every studio album Bowie recorded.

Format: DVD
This is one of my favorite music DVD's that I own. Great insight into the times when Bowie was at his peak. The book has extended interviews with friends and "The Spiders From Mars" members that shed new info on one of rocks greatest stars. The music is (of course) awesome on the DVD. The track selection from "Space Oddity" up to "Diamond Dogs" is some of his best work. This is something every Bowie fan needs in their collection.
