Whatever you believe in, if you keep an open mind this is a really good and interesting read. It goes very in depth and does a good job of explaining. Easy to read as well.

This is a big book, over 600 pages, and it took me a while to read, but it covers a lot of information on all aspects of society. A friend saw the size of the book and asked me what I was reading. I read them this one quote, and it is a perfect summary of this book:
"Just look at us. Everything is backwards. Doctors destroy health, lawyers destroy justice, universities destroy knowledge, governments destroy freedom, the media destroy information and religions destroy spirituality."
Icke makes a great comparison to Orwell's book 1984. We are basically living this book 25 years later.
The repetitive theme of the conspiracy is Problem - Reaction - Solution, and it keeps coming up again and again, all over the world. The contrived problems require a government solution, and the fear they cause leads us to accept a solution resulting in a loss of freedom. Of course the same people always come up connected to allowing the "problems" to occur. What a coincidence!
Although Icke's information on the Reptilians may be hard to accept given the prevailing paradigms, it can be looked at as the lowest part of the human brain that is so strong and dominant in these people that it overrides everything else. But then, after watching Obama catch a fly on TV, maybe they really are human hybrids.
He gives a great perspective and includes plenty of references for anyone who doubts his credibility.

I have read this book from cover to cover twice, and still shrink from it with a kind of revulsion reserved for very violent horror films. Alas, I am cursed with an open mind, and therefore am willing to believe that the scenarios described within are all quite possible. I do not ordinarily suffer from nightmares- what luck!- otherwise I would probably burn the book. Instead, I take seriously the responsibilities of those of us who are sort of initiates: If we know certain things and believe them to be true, we have a duty somehow to communicate what we know to the right persons and in the right way. (Icke plays it less cautiously and tells the whole world.) He and I differ on many aspects of his book. To wit, I always skip the first three chapters, perhaps because, never having seen the film "The Matrix", it's simply too far out there for me to get.
(I am but a Mensa-belonging, Laurel & Hardy-loving organic farmer, for heaven's sake!)
I happen to believe in God, and biblical prophecy. Icke seemingly does not. However- and this is the CRUX- David Icke has done meticulous research over many years, all made freely available to us book-buyers, thus sparing us the time and effort (and any possible death threats????). For this, he deserves a HUGE thank-you!!!! And it is for this reason that I allow this book five stars and heartily recommend it. If you scoff at its contents, oh well, I tried. On to the next person!

This book is an excellent source for anyone who needs their eyes open to the matrix. By exposing conspiracy, he identifies the problem, and for that reason alone, the book merits attention.I have long been concerned about societies such as Skull and Crossbones. Based on the readings of Rudolf Steiner on Ahriman and Lucifer, I had also come to the conclusion that certain wars could be used as a black magic ritual to fuel negative energy.
However, it seems to me that he needs to reflect a little more on the purpose of certain mystery schools and scriptures which were not, originally, malevolent. I agree that the schools have fallen into decadence, have been corrupted and are dangerous in their modern form. This was to a large degree the result of the Fall, which gradually separated humanity from our more enlightened origins.
Therefore, the critical shortcoming of this book is that it does not allow us to look back at certain primeval wisdom which could be a source of strength for our liberation.
For example, certain concepts as the trinity have have primeval, fallen and redeemed versions. For a more balanced view, I would recommend reading some of the gnostic, cathar, alchemical authors which struggled with these questions.
Icke has done an excellent job of exposing the matrix, but he has also condemned certain keys for unlocking it.

Icke lays it all out in this magnum opus on everything from the "gods" of ancient Sumer to the massive lie that was 911. Icke's research is vast and wide and even if you don't believe everything he has to say, you will be compelled to at least seriously consider it. Highly recommended.

This author has done outstanding research on ancient and present history! He is beyond anything I have ever read. You must read this book and decide for yourself if you think he is right or not. His other book: "Biggest Secret" is also even more shocking!! I am not sure I can believe everything he said, but there is a definite ring of truth to everything; this book could have a parallell with another author Col. Craig Roberts: "JFK Dead Witnesses" and "Medusa File" which talks about a "shadow government" the way David Icke's books do. I am going to read everything they both have written!! It's time for all of us to wake up to the truth of what is REALLY going on in our world, which is very much hidden from the average person like me....now I am "awake."!

If you feel there is a difference between how we conduct our everyday's life within society and how we should really live our lives, if you can't tell why the world is so twisted and why we haven't fixed this, read this book and make your own judgement. You could perceive it as fantasy, or you could accept it as a depiction of the real...whichever you choose to do, give yourself a chance to decide AFTER reading the info contained in it.

Wow, its funny how many of us are stuck in a way of thinking, and always think we are right and have the truth and others don't. I've come to realize that an open mind is a very valuable thing... That said then this book is so well researched, I really think its fantastic... A must read. Try it and decide for yourself.

This is the third Icke book i have bought, i Have ' Alice in wonderland - 9/11' and ' The biggest secret'.
I am a big follower of David Icke and really enjoyed the above two books and learned a great deal, however, this book ' guide to the global conspiracy' disapointed me a little because it was full of the same information as the other two, i Found myself skipping over lots of pages to find new Info , .... There are pieces of new Info in this book which are very interesting but as i Said - a little disapointing.
Sorry David.!
