About David Kazakoff
Note: There are a couple of reviews on Amazon.ca
My name is David Kazakoff and I am a writer.
Ever since the age of 14 I knew I wanted to be a writer. For many years the only thing I did about it was read, a lot. In that time I read a fair bit about writing and one constant piece of advice was to write about what you know. Showing wisdom beyond my years, I knew I didn't know anything so I didn't get down to writing.
After living more, I realized I still didn't know anything but if I wanted to be a writer I ought to do something about it. I began writing (what eventually turned into the “A World” series) and quickly realized of the many things I did not know how to do, writing was one of them. After many years of plugging away, a course or two, and help from a couple of dedicated readers, I could produce something that was readable.
At the time, the mid 1990s, the only option was to send out my manuscript to publishers. Which I did. It took 6 months or more to hear back so I kept writing, producing another series, “The Final Four”, and a couple of stand alone books, “Meanu” and “Live with Luc”. I started sending them out too and, in time, collected a drawer full of rejection letters. It was then that I felt I could call myself a writer.
Then along came the ebook and Amazon. In time I decided to take the plunge and put my writing out there. I've learnt a lot about myself along the way and continue to enjoy writing.
If you happen to take the plunge, I hope you enjoy what I've written and I appreciate you spending some of your valuable time with me and my worlds.
Titles By David Kazakoff
The story centres on Luc, who remembers the past, and Evelyn who does not. 'Live with Luc' follows Luc as he moves out into the world and does what he does best, and Evelyn, a modern woman concerned with her career, with finding love and with trying to make sense of a life which has not been exactly what she envisioned for herself.
'Live with Luc' explores what is evil, what it might look like, and the ease with which one falls into its habit.
Roc is ready, and resigned, to retire in his post-boomer world. Does he really know what he is getting himself, and his wife, into? If he gets what he wants, will it really be all he expects?
As murky the future is for Martin and Michelle, what will Suri face? She has made her choice but will it bring her what she desires?
The Master's future is clear, at least to him. Reclaiming what he feels is rightfully his and ruling as he believes is his right. Are there any that can oppose him?
All these questions and more are answered in this, the exciting conclusion to the 'A World' trilogy.
And what about Suri? Will she ever wake from her dreaming? Does she even want to?
What will happen to the world if the ones who can oppose the Master choose not to wake up?
Find out in this, the second book in the 'A World' trilogy.
Suri has always had a dream, to be in the Master's harem. Does she care that the power may be returning? Does it matter to her that she has an inherent ability to use the power? Is she interested in being a part in the Master's plans? No, all she cares about is being in the Master's harem. Her goal is clear and she is tired of waiting.
There is no need to wait, the first book in the 'A World' trilogy begins the journey.
