David Park by Richard Armstrong is a beautiful collection of Park's later work, when he broke from the Abstract Expressionist approach and returned to the figure. This book has many quality color reproductions (B&W as well) from the exhibitions at The Whitney Museum of American Art/1988-89 and The Oakland Museum/1989, as well as a biography of Park. Following his own beat, David Park created paintings that influenced many artists in the Bay Area and beyond. Highly recommended.
