Shockles LineSnubber is a shock absorbing solution most commonly used on dock lines or anchor lines. One size fits all line up to 3/4" (19 mm). Other uses include towing, boom preventers, boom tie down, anchoring and more. Attach in-line using a simple clove hitch or add an optional pair of Line Grabbers (Davis #2460) to fit all braided or twisted line up to 1" (25 mm) and beyond. Made of UV resistant nylon cover sewn over elastomer, progressive tension system. Patented line stretch limiter and progressive tension design make LineSnubber far superior over other snubbers on the market. Each end features a 316 stainless steel carabineer. Available in blue or black.

If you enjoy mooring for hours or days, deploying a Shockles Line Snubber is a must especially on gusty days with heavy winds. I have had an anchor chute pulled off by strong winds and this device (if properly installed) will stop all jolts, jerking, pulling and pounding, acting like a giant sick absorber on your anchor chain. The Shockles carabineer can be directly connected to your anchor chain links in minutes.
Setup Tip: install the Shockles close to your dock and pilings (maybe some 4 to 6 inches from the piling) which will help when casting off and throwing your lines on the dock so that the Shockles portion of your line will almost always land on and be on the dock - and not in the water
> The Shockles are very effective and they eliminate virtually all shocks to our lines
> Setup is quick and easy -- some 20 minutes per Shockles
> Shockles packaging is in itself a clear and very well illustrated guide to tying the Shockles with a clove-hitch knot
> Once installed you will literally hear the difference where much of the shock stress placed on the pilings is eliminated
