The story was quite interesting and followed the events of a total blackout and breakdown of society. I wanted to see what would happen with the main characters. However, a big no-no with the language all through, with every page full of gratuitous swearwords that distracted me from the plot and made for difficult reading. It's not one you can lose yourself in the book and the sequel looks the same. I know there are unsavoury characters that would use this language but not suitable for intelligent accounts.
