This is a chapter book aimed at that primary school demographic that still loves sleeps with a favourite stuffed toy, believes dreams can come true, loves Jurassic Park and can rattle off the name of every plastic dinosaur on the toy store shelves.
When Sparky wakes up one morning to find his collection of stuffed dinosaurs have come to life, he knows that today is going to be a very special day. He also knows his Mom isn't going to be happy about his introducing his newest pets to the household menagerie.
This was such a great read it made me wish I had half a dozen grandkids or young nieces and nephews I could share it with. If you've got kids or grandkids in that 5-10 year old age range you like to read to at bedtime or that you're trying to encourage to read for themselves you have to buy them a copy. They will love it, and so will you.
