"Carole Marsh has written several books aimed at nine-to-12-year-olds about the attacks, terrorism, and the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. The first one, September 11, 2001: The Day that was Different, was published six days after the attacks. 'It was almost easier to explain things at the beginning when it was who, what, when, where, why and why not and how,' she said. 'As time goes on, it's harder to say what's going on here. All politics aside, kids are asking when will this war be over?'" Media General News Service, Teaching 9/11 Today by Gil Klein, published in Lynchburg News & Advance, Potomac News.com -- Gil Klein "Manassas Journal Messenger" (08/29/2006)
"I found this book extremely helpful in making kids aware of the global impact of 9/11, regardless of their geographic location. Nicely laid out, without information overload." -- Tina Velgos "The Review Zone" (09/01/2007) --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
