I was hipped to Daley by a friend on Facebook who had posted a video from his EP. I listened to the snippets on Amazon MP3 and bought EP and liked Daley's Facebook page right away. He's been teasing the album as he's been working on it and finally it's here! His lyrics, beats & smooth distinctive voice is soul music true....and from a young white man from England no less!! Take a listen to the snippets and if it resonates for you buy it quick. If you enjoy Angie Stone, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, DeAngelo, or fellow Brit Marsha Ambrosious you will enjoy Daley. Here's hoping he does another U.S. tour...I missed the first one. Cheers

The snippets for this album don't do it justice. I almost passed on buying this album because of them. Thank God for Spotify! The album has a good synergy between old school/current R&B sounds. Daley's voice is heard through every track in all his splendor. To me his voice glides into the musical production like an individual instrument in a band. If you listen to this album with professional headphones you'll know what I'm talking about. I was shocked to know that fans said some of these songs have been out for years. I'm glad to see his body of work is finally getting its just attention. Plus "Alone Together" featuring Marsha Ambrosius was the track that attracted me to this artist. When I first heard it I almost thought the group Floetry had gotten back together. Give this album a listen and I think you will definitely be pleasantly surprised.

I would have given this album 5 stars, but after downloading it I determined that a majority of these songs were ones that I already had because they were released a couple of years ago. Most are from 2012. Overall, great album though.

Daley has a incredible voice that is a throwback to the days of real singers(Marvin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Prince, Aretha Franklin, Al Green etc). I first heard of Daley from his song "Alone Together" featuring Marsha Ambrosious. I was blown away by the sheer lush melodic beauty of his voice right away upon hearing him. I almost thought "Alone Together" was a new Floetry song because it sounded that good. I then heard another track titled "Look up" and I promptly went out and purchased Daley's album. Daley is a breath of fresh air in today's r-n-b music scene. No auto tune because Daley is a accomplished singer. No uneccesary rap cameo's because Daley don't need that on his album to generate interest of fans. No misogynistic lyrics on this album, only mature grown up topics is sung brilliantly on this album. Daley has a angelic delicate voice that glides over lush and smooth soulful back drops. I hope Daley does not change his style or start to do senseless features to gain a wider audience. People under estimate word of mouth and quiet storm radio stations in breaking attention on new artists. Well not so true because people are definetely talking and loving Daley's music. I heard Daley's music on a quiet storm radio station one time and was instantely hooked on his music. If you love neo soul music legends like D'angelo, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Bilal. Then this new artist Daley is definetely a artist you must check out immediately.

Now this is how R&B/Soul is supposed to sound like! British artist Daley is not just talented, but mature in talking about love, without the crassness that American R&B artists now deliver. TIME TRAVEL is hypnotic and deliberately slow at the beginning, and purposely picks up pace, before settling back down peacefully, just like good lovemaking. One favorite, BLAME THE WORLD has a driving beat, MEANINGFUL lyrics, and captivating vocals. GOOD NEWS has a snap-back feel to the late '80s and early '90s, with all of the modern charm and appeal for 2014. BROKEN is a great upbeat Pop-styled song. ALONE TOGETHER with fellow Brit Marsha Ambroshius is an old school, red light, slow grind ballad.

Daley's Days & Nights is a great debut. I hope he tours the States soon.

I will once again say it to you all - If you want to hear what popular American music should sound like (creative, thoughtful, lyrically-deep, musically appealing, and vocally talented), check out foreign artists like Daley, Selah Sue, London Grammar, Florence & the Machine, Hurts, Jessie J, John Newman, Sam Smith, Joss Stone, Jungle, Paloma Faith, Pixie Lott, and Sia. You will feel like you got your money's worth.

Love his voice and his point of view and his spirit . . . and he's really chill and nice in person. Daley is a real singer with falsetto for days. Overall strong album in my opinion, pretty timeless. It has a few really good gems like Time Travel, Love and Affection, and Broken. For me, it is missing that one breakout hit that really touches me, but I will definitely be on the lookout for him in the future.

Love, love, love his sound and style. Waaaay better than that "fake-wanna be" Timberlake dude. I really hope he along with Aloe Blacc really blow up in 2014. Love it!!! Plus, he only include two previous songs from his 2012 EP.
