I bought this compressor locally, I've had it for about two weeks. It seems to be high quality although by reading the labels it's just a DeWALT branded compressor made by a company that makes many other brands of compressors. I have a bunch of 20V MAX DeWALT tools and I've had no problems with any of their stuff, so when I saw this on sale $100 off locally I bought it.

There are two downsides of this compressor. First is that it comes filled with oil, so if the shipping box is tilted the oil can spill a bit, which happened to me. They really should just include an oil jug so the purchaser can add it prior to break-in. The break-in procedure involves opening the drain and the outlet if possible and run the compressor with little to no load for 30 minutes.

Second downside is the drain itself, it's a little hard to get at due to it's location. I read online that some people put in an elbow and relocate the drain a few inches to make it easier to use, I will have to see about doing that.

Otherwise I really like this unit. The tires are heavy duty, the whole thing feels like it would handle professional/industrial use easily although I am just a homeowner/DIY type of guy.

The quality is good and top tier product for a single stage, but for the price you are in 2 stage territory which will outperform this. It's not very portable as it has to stay upright and it's heavy. It's not that noisy, but not quiet either. Low rpm means it's not working very hard, should last longer, and should be more reliable overall. I'm using it on a 15A 120V outlet and it works fine, never tripped a breaker yet and the compressor's cord/Romex doesn't get warm. The only change i would make to this compressor is to upgrade the standard universal (Industrial/ARO/Auto) automatic fitting to a high flow type and make the compressor taller (larger wheels?) so that the drain plug is easier to manipulate.

2 Cylinder, Single Stage, Belt Drive, Oil-Lube, 1.9HP Electric 120/240v
30 Gallon Steel Tank (4.0ft^3), 779 rpm, 155psi max,
Universal automatic fitting (Auto, Industrial, ARO)

Modified mine for Euro Megaflow universal automatic fittings which can be found on amazon (Coilhose Pneumatics as first choice or Dixon valve). These are superior to anything else I have seen.

Actual Performance Data:
0 to 45psi @ 1:30 elapsed time
0 to 90psi @ 3:10 elapsed time
0 to 125psi @ 4:55 elapsed time
100 to 155 @ 2:40 elapsed time (approx cycle time)

100psi (8:1cr) x 4ft^3 = 32 / 3.67 minutes = 8.7 SCFM avg
100 to 155 (approx 8 to 11cr) 3 x 4 = 12 / 2.67minutes = 4.5 SCFM avg

Comment:
My father's 30 year old Craftsman 3.0HP 30 gal is about 45 seconds faster in a 0 to 125psi race.

Arrived quickly. Worked right out of the box. No air leaks. Generally quite. Minor down side: Oil was a bit low. Other than that, the other comments regarding air release and oil drain plug are correct. They are a hassle. Been using it for a couple of weeks and its great.

I like this compressor. The shipper delivered it broken. It had a broken flywheel and safety cover. Amazon gave me 1/3 off to keep it. I ordered the replacement parts for a lot less than the 1/3 off and it is back in action. It is much, much quieter than the oiless type. I was replacing a 20 year old oiless type that would run me out of the shop when it was on. This seems very well built and rapidly fills up. It is borderline portable. You can move it but it is a bit of work.
