I have gotten to the point where the first book has to be spectacular in order for me to buy the next book. So when I initially got Ms. Robinson's 1st book on October 17, 2017, I held off reading it for fear that it wouldn't live up to the first chapter. Boy, was I wrong to think this book would be anything less than the fabulously awesome read it is.
WOW. What can I say about this book?... Well, it gives you everything you could ever ask for and a little bit more. There is murder, action, adventure, ghosts, villains, heroes, conspiracies, justice & so much more. Yep oodles & oodles of cool good stuff...
And like all good things.... The first book is free... But once you read this one you will be hooked....
Now I originally didn't start reading it until October 25th, at which time I ended up buying Book #2 "Deader Still". Not only did she deliver another fantastic story with bk 2, but she continued it with a spectacular bk 3 "A Little More Dead" (which I bought on the 26th Oct) & dare I say a magnificent bk 4 "Dead & Buried" (which I bought on the 27th Oct). There is also an interesting prequel "Just A Touch Dead" she will send you when you sign up for her website.
While true that you don't have to read these books in order, its so much better if you do since the stories are just better when you have all the little nuances connecting the characters in the correct order.
So, in conclusion, read the books & get hooked, like I have. Now I impatiently wait for book 5.
PS. I will be putting this as my review for all four books. :)
The fun starts when they FINALLY get to go shopping. Unfortunately for Bridget, while shopping for desperately needed underwear (alone on the second floor but with Oz's permission) she finds Jeremy-the medium who is so annoying. But the thing is, it is ghost Jeremy and that means his body has to be around there somewhere...which of course Bridget finds as well. She also sees her pal Tommy (from the assessment week) and Edith bending over the body.
There are so many strange situations, accusations, questions raised in this book. Prior to this Bridget and Sabrina thought they had a lot of the after death life figured out. But Nooooooo.
I had to laugh at Bridget trying to go "straight" and stay out of trouble. In the end she did everything right, but sure made a few collassial goofs as well. And she learned shopping wasn't as much fun as she remembered.
You won't want to miss this newest episode in the after death life of Bridget Sway. It is funny, absurd, and downright the best book yet! You will like the series better if you read them in order, despite what the author has said in the past about any order because they stand alone-what does she know? There is only one tiny problem, how long until the next book is out?
