This book is one of those books you can finish in one go. I loved the characters and the twists and turns of the story always made me want to keep reading. It is well written, flowing so smoothly that you feel you're there with these characters and living in this small town with them. It definitely engulfs you, dissolving the world around you. You become the main character trying to figure out what happened, all while being swept up in a young love everyone craves! Though written for younger readers, this book is exciting for any age. On top of that, older readers, like myself, will feel young again! I absolutely recommend this book, no hesitation to purchase needed. I'll keep an eye out for more from this author!

Jaycee doesn't really believe what her town, including the police, says about why her friend died (wow, so many people were so mean). Instead, she keeps searching for answers to find out the truth. Her small town is not as perfect as it seems. An interesting YA story.

For me this book wasn't it. The pacing of the story was slow, there were stereotypes that never changed or were corrected even when the story wrapped up, and it was difficult for me to get into the dialogue.

The writing wasn't bad, it was clear and neat, but overall not my bag. It could be someone else's though! Give it a try.
