Ashlynn Acosta, took me back to my childhood when I eagerly read the adventures of Nancy Drew. In 'Dead Men Do Tell
Tales' we meet Ashlynn, a young lady who is coming to terms with her growing intuition, messages in her dreams, and
her mother's death. She and her friends work together to solve a murder mystery in a fast-paced, compelling story line.
The idea that Dreamwork and Intuition can be of practical value in our daily lives is intriguing and is gaining in popularity. To have it presented in this book, with a wonderful cast of characters, a page-turning plot and an exciting setting, is fabulous. I believe young teens will thoroughly enjoy this book, and will benefit from the Reader's Guide, which is a real added value.
I look forward to reading more of Ashlynn's adventures.
Though this is a book for young teens, I would also recommend it for parents and professionals who would like to better understand the role of intuition in our lives. Kramer is natural story-teller, and she uses that medium to introduce us to the importance of valuing our dreams and our "hunches".
