Fight with Weapons and Telekinesis
The alien hordes are incredibly resilient. You'll have to find creative ways to neutralize the attacking enemies by shearing off limbs with powerful weapons. And when the ammo runs out you'll be thankful that you can use your telekinetic powers to pick up objects (even the aliens' own severed arms and legs) and hurl them at your advancing enemies.
Graphics, Effects, and Sound Increase the Horror
EA delivers an incredibly frightening experience with state-of-the-art graphics and effects, an audio system that will have you jumping out of your seat, and a truly horrific atmosphere that is permeated with death, mutilation, and despair. As you explore the ship, the tragic story of the USG Ishimura will unfold in gory detail as you discover frantic logs from the hideously transformed crew in their final days.
True Zero-G Effects
You'll be able to take full advantage of zero gravity in Deep Space. Battling enemies and solving puzzles takes on new challenges and present ingenious opportunities with the Zero-G game play. You can use zero gravity to create your own path around obstacles by walking on walls and the ceiling. Leap across vast distances or change your perspective to gain a strategic advantage over your enemies.

The remarkable of the game can be see from three different points:
Environment: A well designed crashed spaceship with tons of monsters call Necromorphs that can be killed by shooting their arms or legs, comes in all kind of types, sizes and of course difficulties. All this happens in the middle of a quest of Issac Clarke for his loved one.
Soundtrack: totally scared sounds to make you scream, really this game is really dark, and fell always alone in a middle of a battle for your live.
Visual: the game is a good looking and the movements of Issac are well done, the only thing is that Isaac uses telepathic abilities to communicate with others this character does not speak but is a bad ass.
This is a must buy game for the survival horror lovers, with and stand alone well done campaign around 6 o 7 hours.
is about some sort a Gargantuan big ship that cracks open planets cortex to search for minerals since earth ran out of it , the ship inexplicably lost contact , and a group of engineers and security crew to check what happened without knowing what to expect, since there was no comunication to it, what they find is unspeakable!! blood everywhere mutilated corpses and evolves at the point of understanding everything if you pay attention, innovation on this game where our mute friend isaac clarke is just and average joe just like me and he uses his tools , yes tools! to fight for his life while in this life treatening situation, the gameplay is easy and neat the game huds are on the charater's suit WOW!! you don't have to enter to an annoying screen to see your stats yor health displayed on the back, as the stasis oh yeah this will save your hide by slowing enemies down for better shooting, here you have to dismember the enemies in order to neutralize them , don't hit in the head/torso that won't do crap to them my advise go for the legs and then their upper limbs!!
you upgrade everything weapons suit especially when visually you see how your suit evolve visually and functionally which not many games have that while this man fight his thoughts, visions necromorphs and for survival our issac clarke does hell of a job great survial horror game what I was looking for!! I was a little reluctant to get this game (cough EA) this game will not dissapoint you get it now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One minus is the lack of color in the game. I realize they want it to be dark and scary, but I haven't found myself scared, but rather more jumpy at some of the surprises. I just save often as I progress so I can redo from certain points. The HUD is probably my biggest issue with the game. While a 3D HUD can be pulled up and you can view the path you must take to get to your objective, it clutters the screen and does not stop the action (maybe I'm missing something here). I prefer a mini-map HUD or being able to plot a waypoint so you can navigate "freely". Overall this a good game with a story that draws you in, but its the controls that hold it back in my opinion. I bought this game along with Crackdown and so far I prefer Crackdown better and its an older release. I tend to prefer games that are fun so to be fair I'm a little bias there. If you're a fan of Sci-Fi or Horror I would recommend giving it a shot.
On a shipping note, I bought this game and Crackdown (2007) together for a great price + free shipping. It was packaged in one shipment and I recieved the items quickly. One of those starnge instances where the cheaper game (of the 2) I prefer much more.
