It is entirely feasible
on November 2, 2011
Well I loved the story line and the characters. As engaging as it was, once again Dr. Wyler educated the reader about a very delicate and timely record. Who will score the mega contract to create the ultimate e-medical record (worth billions)? What are the consequences of hacking and sabotage? What will the competition do to undercut competitors? Who is to be trusted in all this?
Some say, "well, look how many trillions are traded securely on Wall Street?" But several months ago, we had a big glitch that crashed the market briefly. Very inconvenient, and costly to some - - but no one died. This scenario in healthcare, however, is altogether more dangerous.
Congratulations again to Dr. Wyler for another solid medical drama which, as with his other works, is entirely feasible in the not-too-distant future.
