Wasn't all that childish more on the grown-up side even if the two main characters are teens. They handled everything very well trying solve what happen to Sophie. I absolutely like that left murderer unknown until the end.
I would of like hearing mason side not just Casey because he was huge part of this story.
We follow Casey and Mason undercovering what really happen. At the sametime two form a relationship. Finding out secrets between their families. And trying out beat a murderer.
I received a copy for an honest review
A good story line isn't enough on its own, of course, but that wasn't a problem for this novel at all. The characters are relatable, imperfect in all the best ways, and their behaviors are rational. They make choices that a lot of us would make on our own. The setting is charming. The writing style is simple enough to make reading quick, but witty and always enjoyable. Basically, I fell in love with this one the moment I started reading it and that feeling didn't fade. As things became more fast paced and the end of the book drew nearer, I found myself forgetting to do everyday things. Actually, I started reading at a slow point at work one day and very nearly forgot to leave work at the end of the day because I was so hooked! If that's not a sure sign that this is an excellent book, I don't know what is.
There is some violence, which is to be expected in a murder mystery story. There is also vague mention of suicide, but it is not particularly direct. Neither of these factors takes away from the overall story. I highly recommend this book and can't wait to read the next in the series!
