One glaring issue (easily corrected) is that the Kindle formatting is extremely poor, with paragraphs not indented or blocked with extra separation space. Sometimes it was very difficult to attribute dialog because of it. Also, a real copy editor needs to be deployed, I stopped counting standard typos early. Most of the issues were incorrect homonyms and what look to be auto-correct errors such as "don't ruin and old woman's pleasures..", but there were also missing apostrophes all over the text.
As a suggestion, I would recommend a rewrite that addresses the issues of pace and exposition (and the copy edit), as the story itself has potential in my opinion. Writing a book is hard work, a lot of time has already been invested here and it would be great to see that potential realized.
I enjoy fantastical stories with knighthood, statehood's and historical creatures. This book has just that. The author packs a high dose of detail that aims to position the reader in a time long ago.
Pick up this book if you enjoy a good fantasy story.
This plot has great potential and could easily be a 5 star book if the editing was equal to the quality of the incredibly creative storyline.
I'm looking forward to more from this author.
I would like to see more detail within the storys... perhaps a prologue before the first one involving dragons and the history behind them.
Keep cranking out these fantasy works !
