He is also the creator of the interview series, ActorBizGuru, voted the number one online educational resource by BackStage West, and is the co-author of the two-hour audio CD, The Actor's Guide to GETTING THE JOB, with former top commercial instructor, Carolyne Barry.
As a philanthropist, Kevin executive produced the Hack n’ Smack Kerry Daveline Memorial Celebrity Golf Classic, voted in the top 10 celebrity golf events by Southland Golf Magazine. Celebrity participants included: Joe Pesci, Joe Mantegna, Ron Perlman and Michael Chiklis. Kevin also executive produced, Together We Can, Together We Will, in the wake of the Los Angeles riots, and the teen runaway benefit, Runnin’ on Empty, which starred Jason Alexander. Kevin grew up in Nashville and started his acting career in Atlanta. He played collegiate golf, ran four Los Angeles Marathons and played in six Men’s Sr. Baseball World Series tournaments.

The content of this book might make you think that it's too hard to pursue a career in acting, that's too much hard work. Yes! It is hard work, and the people who put in the work as Kevin outlines WILL get work. Breaking the subject matter into the 7 deadly sins was a genius idea. He really covers all of the excuses we actors make, and gives us tangible ways to overcome the excuses and break out of our own chains. We really are the one in control of our career.
Use the guidance and insight in this book to forge your own career, and it won't matter if casting workshops go away, or that you're not related to a superstar, or (fill in the blank). This stuff really works. Kevin is very savvy, and incredibly smart. Learn from others' mistakes, share your toys, and be careful of "guru worship." He couldn't have kept The Actors Network going all these years, WHILE PURSUING HIS OWN CAREER, without walking the walk.
"7 Deadly Sins: The Actor Overcomes", is the no-nonsense, honest, straight from the horses mouth, kind of book you need.
