This book starts out where Bloodstone Heart leaves off. As the dust clears from the destruction of the Bloodstone Heart, A prophecy is found that has been hidden for hundreds of years, that involves the Larsen family. Darby and Devon are moving to Ireland and getting ready to be married. When at home everything is going bad. Bernard is missing, the Larsen boys are all going into mysterious comas, There is a horrible airplane crash that kills Josh's adoptive parents, and everything points to the exclusive Dark Angel. Will the Larsen's survive? Will they ever find out who the Dark Angel is? Be sure to read this final installment in the Blood series to find out.
T. Lynne Tolles has created a beautiful series with beautiful characters that is going to be hard to say goodbye too. I really found myself getting attached to the characters. This is the perfect ending to a perfect series. T. Lynne Tolles has became one of my favorite Authors. She drew me in from the first book of hers that I read and has keep me on a tread until the very ending. I can not wait to see what kind of books she comes up with next as I will sure be following right along. Keep up the great work T.
I loved the portion of the story that involved Darby in Ireland, but I have a problem with what feels like the author trying to add pages to her book by repeating information. It also felt like the author wanted more pages in the book by going through all the marriage vows for both parties. I don't feel this type "detail" was necessary.
With all that said, I enjoyed the storyline and series. I would give it more stars but the things I mentioned above keep me from doing so.
Devon and Darby are in Ireland renovating his parents home, Bernard disappears, Josh's parents die in a plane crash on their way home after visiting him, and Blake, Anton and Devon go into a mysterious coma.
An old enemy becomes a new ally and an old friend becomes a new enemy. To tell you much more would give away too much of the story. If you enjoyed the first four books, you'll love this final book.
