This first effort leaves the reader wanting so much more than it can deliver.
SPOILER ALERT STOP READING IF YOU DON'T WANT AN EVENT FROM THE BOOK GIVEN AWAY!
I am so sick of authors writing a dog into the story just so they can kill it. It is a lame, overused and irritating plot device that I am just sick of. Every time a dog in introduced as a story character it is just a countdown until the writer kills it. Enough already!
The book is full of cliches from every horror movie. There isn't a single suspenseful moment, there isn't a way for me to even begin to like the characters that died. I was going to finish this book but my dog LITERALLY ate it in half and I respected him for knowing what to do with the book because I didn't.
Story started right off with action and it just kept flowing through the whole book. I loved the idea of how the zombie virus started. I have ordered part two. I am hooked and must find out what happened to the three remaining survivors.
Like always great character development, action and gore. What else could a girl ask for in a great zombie novel.
