I didn’t realize until I checked on Amazon that this is the third book in the series. There were references to previous mysteries being solved, but not in a way that upset the flow of this story. It was an easy, enjoyable read, with all the loose ends tied up nicely by the end. Not something I’d re-read, but good enough to make me want to search out the first two in the series, and keep up with it once I was caught up.
The plot is easily comprehended, one strand is the apparent harassment of a minority member of the faculty, and who is doing it. The other is the murder of one of the teacher's wife and the disappearance of the teacher. The College Professor heroine is induced by her own curiosity and a request to help resolve the first issue for a former student of hers, her involvement in the second one is derived from her natural intense curiosity.
I can commend this book both to the light and heavy readers of "cozy" mysteries. Most likely you will enjoy the visit with this heroine, her husband and friends.

A good friend of mine wrote a 5-star review and she's a tough critic - teaches English.
