His "War Paint" is being developed into a movie. The movie will be produced by MVP3, Talent Management for Tennessee, New York, Illinois, and California.

His book, "War Paint" is currently in the pre-production stage of becoming a feature film.

Mister Benton has an Associate Degree in Search and Rescue, Survival Operations, a baccalaureate in Occupational Safety and Health, and a Masters Degree in Psychology completed except for his thesis. Sergeant Benton retired from the military in 1997, with over twenty-six years of active duty, and at the rank of Senior Master Sergeant (E-8). He spent twelve years as a Life Support Instructor where he taught aircrew members how to use survival gear, survival procedures, and parachuting techniques.

Mister Benton lives in Mississippi, with his wife, Melanie Benton, (uses the pen name, Grady Clark) four dogs, and two cats, on an imaginary ranch.

I'm what you'd probably call...addicted to western novels . I've been hung up on Terry Johnston novels for some time now. What I really enjoyed about Mr. Bentons novel was the ease of following his characters! Easy to follow and keep my imagination flowing ! I'm a diehard fan now and recommend him highly !!
