"If anyone wants to know about me, the kind of life I live and what makes me do what I do for a living, you have to read this book." Marilyn Mynxxx while doing an audio file with Jack for the Alphapro website as she was working her shift as a Dollies dancer.
The verdict is in. The girls working in the St Louis Metro East topless clubs love "Death on the Wild Side." It is about them, their friends, and the clubs they have worked in. Marilyn's expresses what the St Louis area dancers have to say about Jack Corbett's novel. -- From the Publisher --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.
From the Publisher
Jack has a website that takes his novel,"Death on the Wild Side" one step further in an online cartoon strip, Skylite Magazine which features the many dancers he meets, and the Lost Angels Forum where one can chat with topless entertainers while viewing the digitized pictures he has taken of them. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

The setting is so far from the truth, in anything-goes topless dancing world of the St. Louis Metro East in which Frank Harring starts his one sided love affair with stripper Lori Mellon. Pretty clear that no won could believe she would ever fall for him.
The author is the most hated guy in the St. Louis Metro East topless world. So his book is very won sided against us dancers in the area.
Lets hope he never writes part II as it will be filled with more lies about us dancers from the Metro East.
Their are better books writing about strip clubs out their as this one is so full of lies no won should read it.
Yes, Jack's tell-it-like-it-is style does cause resentment from some, but most of the people there appreciate that their lives and their times have been chronicled so well for future generations to read. Nothing lasts forever except literature.
You have to read this book to understand why some people are still angry about its publication.
I can see it now: Anjelica Huston, Danny DeVito, Rosanne Barr, Maury Povich.
Congrats Sir Jack!
I bought a copy for every employee. As will I when the Book II hit's the market.
