The books themselves are beautifully bound. The paper is light yet rugged and the print is easier on the eyes than it first seemed it would be. Interestingly they also have a small durable ribbon bound into the binding with which to keep your place. The Appendix contains text of the Declaration of Independence, The Articles of Confederation and The Constitution with Amendments. There are also biographical notes so you have some idea of the nature of these people, and a concise timeline of what occurred when and where.
I highly recommend both books part one and part two.
Pity most Americans are completely ignorant of the issues that are discussed in this book, especially our elected and appointed Leaders in Washington (based on what they say and do, not what they claim).
