“After reading the beautifully written Deborah Rising, I couldn’t wait to read this. I found the story absolutely enthralling and couldn’t put the book down, and I would recommend it as fascinating read.” (Midwest Book Review)

I found the writing and character development are first rate and the action keeps the reader turning the pages. Much like the first installment of this series, the story goes in directions that, if you a familiar with biblical narratives, you wouldn't expect. The author successfully places his audience right in the scenes thanks to well crafted writing. In fact, I found this installment of the story to be a wonderful improvement over "Deborah Rising", and I very much enjoyed that book.
The bottom line here - don't miss this book. Do read each book in order though as I feel you would miss much if you just picked up this book first. My only criticism is that the book finishes with (and I don't feel I'm giving anything away here), " To Be Continued . . .". I do prefer books, even those as part of a series, to have more closure. Not what the publishers marketing department wants, for sure. Well, they've got me and I will definitely purchase the next in this series.
Interestingly, Mr. Azrieli actually replied to an email I sent him thanking him for his great read of Deborah Rising. He then followed up last week with an email to me to alert me that this book was available.
Don't read this one until you read Deborah Rising! Too much backstory will be lost. Don't start this series if you are too impatient to wait for the next release in this series.
